i agree. blind homerism really shows the fan base's mettle, and makes for compelling reading on a message board.

They are going to go for it on 4th down all day and will probably convert all of em. Hope I'm wrong but I just have a bad feeling about it.

No blind homerism, reality....we deserve to be underdogs, but I also see no reason why we can't do the same thing we have done the last two years. We were underdogs in those games also.

If Morris plays like he did Saturday GT 55 Miami 10. If he plays better but not great GT 38 Miami 24. If he plays real well, Miami 35 GT 31. Our season is 100% on Morris, we go how he plays.
 
I shudder to think what our defense will look like without Denzel. It's going to be bad on that side of the ball. We make it a game if Duke goes off and Morris doesnt start heaving balls into the stands. But I guarantee we give up 40 points no problem. That + 13.5 is begging to be played.

It's not that we are all that good as a team, but D'Onofrio has shown us he knows how to stop the triple option. And I don't even have much faith in him in general. The triple option is ineffective against fast teams, especially if they play with discipline. We are fast, and against GT we will play with discipline, while the triple option comes with its own set of fakes and trickery it isn't of the sort that throws our guys off. I'm convinced we have the triple option's number until proven otherwise.

I wouldn't be surprised to murder GT this week then, when the board is brimming with optimism again as people believe we've turned the corner, we'll get murked by NC State.

this is exactly how I feel. I don't think GTs defense is any good, we need to run very well if we're going to win. All signs point to them putting up alot of points on our D, we need to win a shootout. We'll see what this team is made of saturday, I hope to see a team with fight like we did last year.

I'll take Miami to cover.
