This is a kid that will go down to the wire, I trust Pete's connections, so hopefully they're right.

Agree with Jhall, this years F$U game is huge for recruiting.

To me Kirkland is every bit the priority Thomas is, even though Thomas is the better prospect. We badly need OL still in this class, and can't afford losing one in our own backyard to FSU.

Its still amazing to me that those wanna-be's can come south and get kids but we can't so much as get a sniff in their territory. That as frustrating as anything else, at least to me.
 
When we win it will be even easier to recruit. Kids in south Florida wouldn't even think of FSU. We have to win first. Win 9 games this year by some miracle and watch out!!!

Agree with you on Kirkland. Doesn't hurt that getting him may help with Thomas as well.

not too sure what i think about us having a chance with this beast, but he should def be our top priority. as the situations out of control from our end of the spectrum im just hoping this is 2013's version of tracy howard and big al reels him in the last week or so because he's the kind of impact player that makes a good recruiting class an EPIC recruiting class. our 2012 class was very very good without tract but tract just put that cherry on the top of an otherwise very tasty ice cream sundae. cmonnnn big six stay home baby
 
How could you think we wouldn't have a chance? He goes to Booker T. and Golden will make him a top priority. We most definitely have a chance. I think he's a Cane.

I hope it's true about him wanting to be an EE.

It's an AAU culture these days. His teammates love the U. The kids he grew up competing with are at the U. He'll be at the U.

You see the article on rivals? Ice says that Thomas is worried about sanctions and stuff. If Miami doesn't get hammered by the NCAA then he says Miami will be in it. Not getting hammered and Thomas' relationship with Michael Barrow is what help Miami.

Right now its Bama, FSU and everyone else.
