u have to understand Jimbo knows what weekend this is, and Im sure this is the "only available time" Thomas could go visit at the moment.

This seems like a little extra on it. Driving up state to see the rival school when the school down the street is holding an event that basically targets your interests? Thomas is going all out to just throw people off the trail.

It's obviously going to be an old school FSU-UM battle for this kid. It'll probably go down to the wire. At the end of the day, Golden and staff have made Thomas their #1 priority and if Golden wants him I see him ending up at UM. JMO

Biggest thing we have in our favor is him mama wants him at UM. Let's hope it's not another Atone Smith deal.

Lets also remember that we will probably self impose a bowl ban this year, hence AG will have an extra month Jimbo will not have to go get recruits. Big last minute advantage to AG!

Imo I wouldn't count on us imposing another Bowl ban. I think Miami feels they served that part of the punishment.

yeah im pretty sure golden has said several times that we have paid the price. hence he thinks we are kinda in the clear as far as bowl punishments go

Honestly I really can't figure out this Matthew Thomas guy.... part of me is like ok he is playing the Recruiting game, VERY well. But than another part of me is like, this kid is deliberately being disrespectful to the hometown team.

I think it's different than the Tracy Howard situation last year..... He pretty much made it clear that he was leaving Miami and he never really just played us like some suckers about it. Matthew Thomas says he has some interests in us.... but than he deliberately drives to Tallahassee to watch them practice the same day we are having "somewhat" of a big recruiting event, on Campus.

I understand how great he is but I just think he wants us to beg him for attention which doesn't really sit well with me. IMO we got a lot of talent in to make up for his loss if we don't land him. Kirkland to me is a higher priority b/c of need for young O-line depth and talent.

If you're actually "worried" then have fun on the rollercoaster. Kid is waiting til signing day to announce so it's going to go back and forth with all the stuff. I think the kid already said something about the sanctions mattering. But honestly I think he's a Cane and especially if we have a good season.

Yes, obviously. Until this kid reaches Patrick Johnson territory, where I feel like the UM coaches don't want to play the game anymore, he's just another Kenny Phillips.

VETERANS know until the ink is dry, worry about all of them. Those who aren't....... are just not smart.
