Why the art hate dee? I see a lot of potential with him, that offense he played on was horrible, I wanna hear your take

Dee has gone over this multiple times:

- Criticized our offense in the spring game
- Has tried getting multiple guys in our class to decommit and start looking around
- Might not even be able to start at IMG
- Too hyped.

Kid is trouble and it stems from his family (particularly his dad). the best thing for him is probably to get as far away from Cali as possible.

Maybe the pastor could turn him around, but being relatively new on the job, I understand why he wouldn't want to take that chance.

Wow! Kid's highlights are hard to overlook. Got all the goods, like a super mobile Brett Favre. Get this guy signed, sortem out later.

That's cool. Nice talent, but we won a natty (or 2) with Ken Dorsey..

If everyone does what they are supposed to do (including coaches) we don't need a "5 star" QB.

Problem is this kid doesn't have love for the []_[].. We're a fallback plan for him. I'd rather a kid who wants to be here from jump-street or at least committed to []_[]s first.

I'll ride with Art.

You don't need a 5* QB, but they sure as **** help. Nine out of the last ten NC teams have featured a 4* or 5* QB.

Have to agree on this one. Highly doubt Richt would keep a kid around if he tried to sabotage the class, regardless of how much he likes his potential. Rarely do I doubt Dee, but that one doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

I also remember Dee saying how Sit supposedly explained it as "testing their commitment status," but the staff, especially Richt, isn't that gullible. Kid would be gone period.

With all that said, I wouldn't be surprised if there had been some similar issue that was likely blown out of proportion.

I think the question with him is endurance at this point. He is massive and strong but how will he hold up during games against top competition.

Yeah that's why I asked. Seems like a really solid prospect imo. But I'm also partial to big road graders on the OL that are quick enough to excel in pass pro. That'll happen when you're born and raised in Wisconsin and you're used to dominant OLs

I used to worry about that but I'm confident in our S&C and nutritionist team that we could make him a monster. Navaughn is already in the 335-340 range down from 380 and it's visible.
