I'll tell you what. There's a huge difference there. Their LB saw it, reacted immediately, but was just too slow to keep up. That's a talent issue. I wouldn't mind if we were riddled with those situations. It's sometimes a talent issue, but I rarely see a LB jump a play ahead of time (the throw).

I think we can give up a lot of yards in all of our games and win them all. Dorito would still look bad. I think D'nofrio shoots himself in the foot every game so the defense will speak for itself.

I thought that looked weird. Isn't that the unstoppable play where there's some magic force that allows only green grass within 15 yards of the receiver? MD must have some special players, or scheme, or something!

By the way, those crossing routes wouldn't work as much if we had the old rules. I remember if you wanted to do crossing routes you better have the cojones to get hit.
 
Put me in the group of just win. When you check espn or any other site you don't check the W/L column and see pretty or ugly you just see W/L. Anyone want to give that ugly win back to U***?
 
No doubt, a Maryland win would pump some life back into this fan. It would pretty much be like we didn't lose last week. I'll take that ANY way it comes.
 
Positives plays nothing stupid that puts Maryland behind the 8 ball on their own. Nothing that will allow VT to get back in this without earning.

No TO's for Thomas last week means he due for three still today vs Maryland.

This game is gonna be really tough for the Manny Navarro and "players talent" crowd. Regardless.

Maryland is anticipating their way to 3rd down defensive success. They essentially just rolled up their slot DB and guessed the pick play for another stop.

Come on, Maryland. Go back to the I-Form and play action off it on 1st down. VTech is over pursuing everything right now.
