Team showed some spark with Beverly and Wong had a little hot streak. But poplar and pack and now wong look done in. Nice to get it close though.

If we beat UCF I'll eat my words, but I think good teams are gonna eat us alive and Providence was just a pleasant surprise. Wong is way too inconsistent and Omier may not be Superman all the time, and the flaws here and there are hard to overcome, as are the refs.

Certainly a lot to clean up between now and Louisville two weeks from today. The reality is we’re probably neither as good as we looked yesterday or as bad (I hope) as we looked today.

What Pack did at Kansas State wasn't a fluke. He's legit. I think his struggles today are a combination of Maryland having a clear size advantage defensively at the perimeter and him trying to find his role in the offense.

Pack is most effective as a catch-and-shoot 3-pt guy so I think we need to ease him into the offense by setting up screens for him off the ball so he can get his shots in early. He doesn't mesh well when we're running stagnant half-court iso ball (which Zay excels at).

Maryland is a really good team, like one of the 5 best we’ll play this year (before the tourney), so fact is they just beat us in every facet of the game, it happens. They were a tough matchup, they’re an athletic team with very good length & depth & got hot shooting.

We definitely played bad, but in BBall sometimes the better team is just the better team.

It’s still very early, literally just 5 games in of a long season & this one game won’t define the team at all.

Overreacting to a game like this is a little over the top if you actually follow CBB.

We’ll have 2 more opportunities this month against UCF & Rutgers to show what we’re made of.

Have some things defensively that we have to go back to the drawing board & figure out, but people really need to really relax with the hyperbole this early in a Basketball season; this ain’t Football, no one goes undefeated in CBB.

You are entering MackMiller territory of being one of the worst posters here. It’s game 5 on a back to back against a very good team. Miami beat up Providence yesterday and all of a sudden we suck? Get the **** out then.
Today we got out-hustled, out-shot, out-muscled, out-jumped, and out-manned. Wong with 7 assists yesterday and guys having some touch at the basket made us look good, we DID suck today, but yeah its just one game.
