Yall Complaining about Meesh and Jaden being bad in the run D game and not the best tacklers, and your bright idea is to move Meesh to nickel and bring in ******* Markeith Williams?! Yeah that'll surely help the Run D and Tackling!

How about we just play Richarda little less and not have our CBs - especially Porter playing 7 yards off. That seems like the best solution imo.

Yeah playing so far off has been a bit puzzling, especially when we're in man coverage. We have to put some hands on these receivers.
 
Louisville Gtech WF Syracuse Acc championship game(Clemson) will answer alot of these questions about the secondary

These early games including cal are tests for our run defense, I don’t think we have seen the secondary get really tested yet but those teams i listed have better offenses and much more capable qbs
 
We are asking a lot of average athletes in man coverage where some are out of position. Would help us rally if we played more zone looks and would allow porter to do what he’s actually good at in coverage

WF is 1-4. They may test us but we blow them out with better talent.
Clemson- has Cade figured things out? Last I watched him, he was a one read QB

Just a pass happy offense with a solid qb that will have film on us, we should beat them easy

Ok but seriously. Just for a second. Put aside the fact that he’s a top three heisman contender, leads the country in yards, leads the country in tds and has us undefeated.

Is he good?

Respectfully disagree, think you're being too kind. I was frustrated with Kam's recklessness at times last year given how talented he was. But Harris is bringing it to a whole new level, and he's not as talented. Maybe he gets there. But he's far from KK right now, not just lack of interceptions but across the board.

Hard to know. Haven't seen enough of Markeith to judge if he's better. Probably worse given they're from the same class and coaches decided to move Harris over to S and start over him.

I think Guidry needs to improve scheme while his personnel keep working at it. I know others hate the two safety zone coverage as being too soft. But we can't continue with this insanity.

That was my point. Kam had more talent and production because of it.

IMO:
ZP for run downs and run heavy teams
MW for pass-downs and pass-heavy teams.

Harris just takes way too many risks for a safety and that is 100% mental

I wonder if Guidry has realized he doesn't have the talent to run his preferred scheme.
