Y’all have to go back and watch film, Harris has made some plays but he’s also been involved directly in 3 of the 4 biggest plays we have given up
30 yard run vs famu
70 yard run vs uf
64 yard screen pass from usf

Not to mention that egregious end around play where he got moved out the building by kyron drones and just looked flat out bad . Harris himself needs to be more displined

When markeith Williams and zaquan got in the game vs Va tech they made plays and were in the right spots consistently

Harris has taken some absolutely atrocious run angles this year. You see the talent there but it doesn't seem like truly being the last line of defense is coming naturally to him.

Harris looks like a corner being asked to play Safety.

Bro weighs 3 pounds, he's cool for a few snaps but we're in trouble in the run game if he has to play significant snaps.

porter cannot be playing nickel anymore. hes horrible there. hes either outside or just bench him. OJ needs more snaps and Richard needs a lot less. hill has been good

Harris is a deep safety, not a box safety. Can't ask him to come downhill. Headless chicken.

Unsure if Richard can play that given his limited athletic ability, but I'd rather have Porter outside compared to him.

I’m not saying our secondary is great or anything but it feels like we have enough there to limit damage. Just gotta figure out the combo that works
 
Harris, Richard, and Powell are underwhelming athletes and bad football players. We want to win championships, we need superior athletes in the secondary who also have natural ability. Going to be difficult to stack those chips while in the ACC, but our NIL and head coach give me a glimmer of hope.

Guidry has publicly said atleast twice that the 70 yard run against Florida was not Harris fault. It was Wes who did not set the edge properly. Harris was assigned to the TE.
 
Meesh to nickel and get porter back outside where he belongs and is an all ACC player…

Jaden and Markeith as your safety’s….

Bonus is meesh can hopefully groom Robby for the job next year

I thought he said that it was a mistake that Wasley made that Harris made worse. I don't remember his exact words but he implied there was a series of missed/blown assignments.

Wesley was supposed to set the edge and did not. Instead he tried to cut inside the block. Harris was supposed to cut the sideline off as a safety and last line of defense. Instead he ran into the box recklessly at a horrible angle.

That's what I saw. You have to understand angles at Safety. I believe Harris will get better at this with more reps

I saw someone say the Defense played better once he was out, did he go out in the second quarter?

Because 1st quarter after the TO they had a run for 4 yards, pass for 2, then some blown assignment to the TE for the 25 yard TD. That could have been his assignment. The WR ran a post across his face and he went with him and the TE streaked to the spot he vacated.

After I seen 25 play I’m like yea just throw MW in there you might as well see what you have. I still prefer to upgrade that spot tbh
