Mark Fletcher commits to Miami and a discourse on the history of greatest NFL runnings backs

Cool story bro time: I’m out here at the 7v7 Battl tournament in Ft Lauderdale and this big jit comes walking by me with a Miami shirt on. I stopped him and asked if he played for Miami. He said he does and when I asked him what number he is he said he doesn’t play for Miami yet. I asked was he committed to Miami and he said yes. I then asked his name and he said Mark Fletcher.

Point of the story is Fletcher is one of the most humblest big time recruits I have met. Everything was yes sir no sir to the point I had to tell him to quit calling me sir cause it makes me feel old lol. He is also every bit of 6’2 225 ish and rock solid.

I knew Kitchens was a lil undersized but it surprised me with how short he is. I’m 5’10 on a good day and he is only about an inch taller then me. Makes what he did this past season and what he will continue to do all that more special

A combo of Citizen & Fletcher behind an improved o line sounds incredible

I co-sign the **** out of this. People acting like it’s an unreasonable suggestion are either functionally stupid, willfully ignorant or prisoners of nostalgia. His entire body of work stands up to that of anyone that’s ever carried a football.

The underrated parts of his game are his feet , hands and receiving ability. Big ******* is a dancing bear. I don’t think some folks know how really good and complete of a back he really is, just because he’s not running a 4.3 - 4.4.

Surprisingly fast in those clips. From others out there you'd imagine he's just a 225+ bruiser but he's quick and shifty on top of that.
 
He's not an east/west runner and doesn't waste time dancing around in the backfield either. That's not something I'm used to seeing in these types of highlights.

Quick and shifty for sure but he isnt fast. Will be very productive for us, I see a bigger version of Yearby. Well his feet arent that good but you get my point.

This guy better not turn into another Thad Franklin. I'm not being an *******...I know a lot of you were saying the same stuff about Thad before his arrival.

Go back to drinking. You’re comparing 2 different guys. Thad was lazy and thought he could skate on talent. This kid is talented and from all sources seems to be hardest worker in the room.

You all have a tendency to hype the **** out of some recruits and did the same with Thad.

Thad never had a run like the 2nd run on the tape. Thad has a bigger lower body and Mark is more lengthier with skinnier lower half which allows him for quick feet and better agility than thad.

Thad is a bruiser through an through a guy that needs 15+ carries a game..gonna kill you with 5 yd-10 yd burst....BIG 10 OR BOSTON COLLEGE TYPE back.
