It helped that they hit on Hutchinson but I look at that as a random event. They were taking him one way or another because of his roots. I’m curious what they do with the draft this year, they are in a great spot. I’m even more curious how my Bears **** up the #1 pick.

You are pushing a narrative that has no backing. It was expected for him to drop a tiny bit, he didn’t play in the AU game and in the end dropped a few spots but still has an elite rating of .9958. In the meantime Samson moved up to 15 and regained a rating of .99 because he played and performed in the other game.

The bears said they wouldn't draft a QB and that's a plus to me. I don't think there are any qbs that are worth a number one. I would take Will Anderson tbh.

I think that Bryce Young is going to be special and I’m not that high on Fields. What I didn’t count on with Fields is him being as explosive of a runner as Lamar except bigger and stronger. He has arm talent but he can’t process the game well and is inconsistent on his best day.

All that said, unless someone is willing to give us a bunch for Fields, it doesn’t make that much sense to just give up on him. I’m kinda hoping we trade back but I’m sure we will **** it all up

This was due to On3 correcting themselves. They had him as a 3 star (lol) previously.

His rise isn’t over. 247, Rivals and ESPN will all prob give him a bump in some capacity due to AA game. Expect him to settle as a top 150 player nationally, and rightfully so.

Fields is not as good as I expected having followed him since high school in the Atlanta area. But the biggest problem I see is not his throwing, which is erratic, or his inability to quickly determine where to throw the ball. Rather it is that his greatest strength, running the ball, inevitably is a weakness for every running QB by the end of the seaosn because they can’t stay healthy.

Murray, Fields, Jackson all have the same strength/weakness. Josh Allen and Daniel Jones are still running and its truly a weapon, until it isn’t.

You can question the narrative but the reason you gave doesn't support really your dissent.

And Francis is dominating the Polynesian bowl all star game right now. Was a top 5 player per their practice reports.

3 of those are QBs. Keeley practiced and dominated all week. I expect Francis to get a slight bump as well after the Poly bowl. My point was that when all the best come to one place and show out there will be some reranking. Mauigoa went from 8 to 10 in the composite.

EDIT: I just noticed that Malachi fell 4 spots, so he actually fell more than Mauigoa.

Either way, I'm pretty sure all the movements have been caused by ON3, which is pure ***.

I dont think 247 has released their final rankings.

I was actually surprised on3 did this big shake up with the Poly bowl yet to happen. There is some real good talent there.

They also hit on some other players, Sewell was hit, Amon Ra great pick, Okudah. The LB from Oklahoma and some good free agent pickups as well.
As for your Bears, they are in a great spot but history does say they will probably crew it up lol. Personally I don’t think Justin Fields is not the answer. Sure he can run the ball, but in the end you have to be able to play the QB position and be able to throw the **** ball. And he is not a good passer in my opinion

The crazy thing about Barry is.... he lost WAAAYYYYY more yardage than anybody on this list because he spent a lot of times running sideways or even backwards, due to the fact that he was playing behind subpar OL, and getting hit in the backfield. Sometimes he had to make dudes miss, before he could get near the LOS. All that said, I need you to think about this.... In Jim Brown's era, he was bigger than some of the OL that was blocking for him and some of the DL and LBs trying to tackle him. He had to look like a **** OT running with 4. 4 speed with the football in his hands. WOW! Jim Brown has the BEST avg. per carry in NFL History. He averaged 5.2 yds per carry. Barry averaged 5.0 yds per carry. Think about that. If he had decent NFL OL, he would blow this discussion into orbit. No doubt Barry is the GOAT RB. Incredible.
