in 2018 they ran it 25% more than they threw it. In 2019 they ran it 16% more than they threw it. That's being ultra conservative to be polite when your QB is Justin Herbert and your running backs are CJ Verdell and Travis DyeIn the PAC12 Herbert was 3rd in attempts as a JR and 2nd in attempts as a SR... With only Washington St under Mike Leach being by far out ahead. 3,471 yards, 36TDs, 6 INTs, finished 5th in the AP poll and won the Rose Bowl... Really held Herbert and the team back.... Their top 2 RBs also averaged 6.2 Ypc that year while we are currently averaging 5 ypc with Martinez/Fletcher.
Maybe they just ran more at Oregon cause it worked more.
