They do.He took a knee at the end. Showed some improvement I guess.
I wonder if they have an analytical guy on the staff telling him when to go for it.
.
Plus the talent level is significantly better, and he trusts his guys now.A couple years ago there was ZERO chance Mario was going for either of those 4th downs.
Let me reiterate. ZERO.
He’s adapting and learning. Really all we can ask for. The man knows what his flaws are and he’s attempted to correct them. So far, so good.
Even some of the biggest haters of Mario can admit that if he has flaws he will work on fixing them. He’s not stubborn at allA couple years ago there was ZERO chance Mario was going for either of those 4th downs.

Agree 100. That’s when I wished Mario stepped in and demanded Bro ball to finish the game and clock.Dawson had generally a good game, but that pass Cam almost fumbled for a scoop and score TD was an astriciously bad call. 2nd and 3 with 4-5 mins left and they run the play w 20 seconds left on playclock, which was idiotic, and then even more idiotic Dawson calls a pass when they were destroying the D w the run.
Are you sure Dawson called that play or did Cam audible out of it?Dawson had generally a good game, but that pass Cam almost fumbled for a scoop and score TD was an astriciously bad call. 2nd and 3 with 4-5 mins left and they run the play w 20 seconds left on playclock, which was idiotic, and then even more idiotic Dawson calls a pass when they were destroying the D w the run.
He has been much better with timeouts and dropped his nuts a couple times telling the offense to go for it on 4th down.
Now just need to find a true ST coach which Ive said for years. Miami currently has Dennis Smiff listed at ST coach.
Mario has coached well so far this year
Not ragging on Mario or your post, but don't you think his "improved" coaching may have something to do with having Cam as QB vice the golfer from last year? This doesn't only apply in Mario's case, but with other coaches too?

We don’t know if Cam audibled on the play.Dawson had generally a good game, but that pass Cam almost fumbled for a scoop and score TD was an astriciously bad call. 2nd and 3 with 4-5 mins left and they run the play w 20 seconds left on playclock, which was idiotic, and then even more idiotic Dawson calls a pass when they were destroying the D w the run.
I have been screaming this since Spring.A couple years ago there was ZERO chance Mario was going for either of those 4th downs.

This right here!! Not only has he evolved and grown as a coach BUT people don’t know how much he has INVESTED in this program , but especially these players.“Elite Human Being”
Perhaps, but aren't you laying it on a little thick.Dawson had generally a good game, but that pass Cam almost fumbled for a scoop and score TD was an astriciously bad call. 2nd and 3 with 4-5 mins left and they run the play w 20 seconds left on playclock, which was idiotic, and then even more idiotic Dawson calls a pass when they were destroying the D w the run.
Agree on all the above especially special teams. Like how he was aggressive on 4th down yesterday,He has been much better with timeouts and dropped his nuts a couple times telling the offense to go for it on 4th down.

He understands what he has in Cam and this offense...A couple years ago there was ZERO chance Mario was going for either of those 4th downs.
