He has been much better with timeouts and dropped his nuts a couple times telling the offense to go for it on 4th down.

Now just need to find a true ST coach which Ive said for years. Miami currently has Dennis Smiff listed at ST coach.

Mario has coached well so far this year

I’m impressed with Cristobal this year. He finds ways to improve and I can Respect that a lot

If dennis smith is the SC coach we know what the issue is. That being said, the hurricanesports website has no SC coach listed...

He took a knee at the end. Showed some improvement I guess.

I wonder if they have an analytical guy on the staff telling him when to go for it.

The only mistake I would say is at the end of the first half when he gave the ball back to louisville, instead of taking the big lead into the locker room.

Only real bone-headed move, and it was a big one, was rushing to the line and snapping the ball with 30 seconds left on the play clock on the play that they initially called a fumble and touchdown return. We're in field goal range and about to go up two scores, you run that play clock down. I don't know what the **** they were doing, but it almost cost us big time.

Dawson had generally a good game, but that pass Cam almost fumbled for a scoop and score TD was an astriciously bad call. 2nd and 3 with 4-5 mins left and they run the play w 20 seconds left on playclock, which was idiotic, and then even more idiotic Dawson calls a pass when they were destroying the D w the run.
Beat me to it. But there was more like 30 seconds on the clock. It was wild.

The big thing for me is the disconnectedness. Just feel like in the aggregate we have a lot of trouble making things move smoothly and cohesively from one to the next. But it’s undoubtedly improved. I think we just gotta accept the defense is what it is and plan accordingly.

Only thing I’m curious to is it seems every time a back seems to get into a rhythm and starts gaining yds in bunches out goes that back and in comes Martinez..And I know he had a great run on the TD 👏👏👏 and mad props to him on that but he’s probably the 3rd or 4th best RB on the team and you saw today Fletcher getting yds in bunches and out he comes…Allen comes in and is running great and out he comes and in cones Martinez .if you got a back gouging the defense leave him in till he asked to come out.

Just curious to me and almost seems like Mario has guaranteed him X amount of touches a game..

You literally made this up. Dennis smith is not the special teams coordinator. Danny Kalter is.

getting the ball at the end of the 2nd quarter with the lead and giving the ball back to them allowing Louisville to score a FG before the half was poor time management. otherwise, so far we have strides overall
