Mario, Dawson, and Cam cost us the game

Cristobal, Dawson, Guidry (didn’t worry about setting the edge all game) Ward trying to do to much, the combination of broken coverages, missed tackles, defensive alignments, that’s all a recipe for disaster and we just saw it.

The coaches started pressing way too early and the players just seemed overwhelmed all game long.

Knowing GT was milking clock we should have taken 3 points twice when they were there for the taking.

I'm not sure why Cam isn't being coached to tuck and run in these 2 minute situations.

I don't think they have any control over him.

Middle of the field is always open, quick slants, crossers, seam routes.

Nobody can stop it and it leads to explosive plays every game. We need to start our offense there, not run them occasionally.

Cam is best when he can get the ball out quick to guys in space.

Stop calling deep routes and slow developing plays when you know he has a tendency to hold the ball waiting for plays to open up.

This should be a 90% up tempo, quick passing offense, with some spread run concepts sprinkled in.

Agreed, but I do think he can recruit at a level to return us to a consistently ranked, respected program, instead of the joke we had turned into.

The standard isnt titles anymore, it's not being a joke. If he can bridge that gap, he'll have served his purpose.

Does off-season title count? I’ve become more of a fan of the off-season the past few years. We usually KILL in the portal, KILL in recruiting, and I have t been to one spring game yet that we’ve lost…honestly the only thing I hate about the off-season is watching our baseball team

Cam missed dudes all game doing the same dumb **** he’s been doing all season.

Dawson only call meaningful plays when we have to comeback and is the most Dr. Jeckel/Mr. Hyde coordinator I’ve ever seen.

Don’t tell me about Guidry. They got the stops they needed to win the game and at the end of the day that’s all that matters.

Definitely Cam worst game of the season. He just hold on to the ball way too long. It works most of the time in college but in the NFL it’s going to get him killed.

100%. My biggest issues were:

Guidry’s alignments. Stunting and not keeping the edge?

Dawson not running on 4th. Couldn’t believe it.

Not as mad at Mario or Cam as others but they can take some blame too.

Because at the end of the day, they got the necessary stops. What’s Mario’s excuse for not kicking 2 FGs? What’s Dawson’s excuse for his ****** play calling??

Ummmm….defense gave up almost 3 bills on the ground. GT didn’t even try passing the ball in any serious way.

That's very bad, but we only gave up 28 points. You take the FGs and you have so much more flexibility in playcalling later. Instead, we were up against the wall.

The fourth down to open the second half is what cost this team the game. You spend all the resources on developing a monster OL, big backs and you call a tool out to the opposite side? **** that.

Left multiple scores on the field. If Cam wants to play in the NFL he needs to learn to take what is there or throw the ******* ball away.

You mean Guidry was not compliant with the **** show that gave up a million yards rushing on the edge when he specifically said we have to contian
but did nothing in the way of adjustments to shut it down...continued running stunts a twists to give up the edge...left safeties back peddling at the snap when lined up 15 to 20 yards deep? He good?

Only positive I can think of is maybe this is what he needed. He’s clearly the best QB I’ve ever seen here but maybe some reality for the offense helps

Still when the other team literally cannot throw a pass with one QB in the game, and can’t run with the other QB in the game, GT shouldn’t have had 28 points

No clue why we started chasing points so early. I was second guessing that **** right away, way too agreessive

In a low scoring game where every possession matters and the other team is playing keep away, you take the points UNLESS it's 4th and 1.

But all our 4th down were 4th and 3ish and the play calls were terrible.

At all, it was unbearable watching them play man . No pressure at all

Baron be getting close, then just whiffs entirely. Bain hasn't flashed like last year. Same old same old, players be feeling themselves too much.
