Mario Cristobal says Rueben Bain is back for Cal game

It’s probably been mentioned, but if Bain and Baron both actually play this game we may have double digit sacks. Watching Cal games now, they can’t block UC Davis, made me look it up and they’re bottom 4 in the nation in sacks allowed.
That's good to hear. Need a healthy rotation on the defensive line Saturday and mix in more freshman and younger guys. Need bunch of guys getting some burn before the bye week and heading into Louisville.

Baron isn't banged up. He was dealing with cramping and hydration issues. Same thing with Jaden Harris. We need to get a tighter lid on making sure these guys are hydrated appropriately.
Coming from someone who cramped up a lot in HS and College, some kids are just more proned to Cramping. I hydrated all week, took capsules and a cramping liquid and still would cramp up late in games. Sometimes you can’t control it with how much fluids you lose during Gameday

I would be curious what fluids they are receiving?

Is it just water? Is it junk like Gatorade?

Hopefully Miami is proving true electrolytes like sodium, potassium and magnesium and not sugary crap.

I would think the nutritionist are on top of it but who knows. These kids need to be on supplements

We say this weekly and all of a sudden guys from these trash teams become SUPER HEROS for one night against Miami!!! SMH
Pretty cliche at this point but it is generally true and it will be true this game. This is their first ever game day spotlight as a program, and will easily be the most watched game in their history. Plus their QB is from Miami. They are going to want to show out.

Cal is 132nd in QB sacked % at 12.82%. I know they have had multiple OL out and not sure on their status for Saturday

I think Bain either produces on his own or takes some additional attention and one of the other ends is going to eat

People have no idea what HIPAA actually is lol. Hate that it’s in the public lexicon
I caught HIPPA in the early 90s in Juarez, prolly, definitely at the Donkey Show venue. The meds keep the sores at bay for the most part these days, but age and the ol' immune system can be problematic more often than I'd like.

People certainly don’t know what “lexicon” is either
I think most people just misunderstand him as a true villain. I think if Clark Kent just had a better sit down, he might be able to get at the true motivations and secure a workable compromise, but then that would ruin the whole DC universe, so I guess I am just too pragmatic. Totally get your point though.

Wasn’t Lexicon the Transformer that turns into a Volkswagen?

I assume that Rivers being a "gametime decision" means he's not playing. Hearing anything different?

Depends, will Bain be back in football shape?

Go Canes!

Anyone notice the wrap on Bain's hamstring during the LVille game?? He's playing great while I assume he's not actually 100% himself. It'd be nice to jump out on FSU and have some of the young guys get some reps to keep Bain's play count down, same with Alston. He looked pretty timid on the edge against LVille to my eyes. Feel free to disagree.
