They think everyone is a lock to them. They make this **** up to feel better about themselves when they are inevitably confronted with a losing record and a dead in the water coach biding his time till the broke administration can afford to take on a fourth coaches salary.

Wasn’t a fan of Manny when he was hired or while he’s been here but I will say I’ve gained s little respect for him ( and the other coaches still here) for still doing their jobs while all this shrapnel is flying around them about Mannys job which in turn directly concerns them.

Kudo’s to all of them for still putting in the effort even though most if not all,including Manny,may be out right after the bowl game in a couple weeks..👏👏

No elite lb will ever commit to play in a manny d again no matter where he becomes dc again. Maybe Don Brown will hire him as dc at umass n the worst fbs team can have the worst dc. Don has lost a step but was a great defensive mind and great hc at fcs northeastern and then at umass. Don is the reason umass left the old Atlantic 10 fcs to becoming fbs.

New g5 conference- James Madison, UConn, Umass, FIU, Liberty, and a couple more. JMU n Liberty would dominate but then maybe UConn won’t have to lose to non scholarship fcs team like patriot league holy cross. Umass losing to uri isn’t as bad as UConn losing to holy cross but barely surviving non scholly Ivy League yale and having two fcs teams on schedule is pathetic. On a high note umass’s lone w was against UConn. Both schools made new hires of guys past there prime. Hopefully Don can recreate the magic he did at umass the first time around n not pull an edsall n destroy the legacy he created there

5 top247 commits of those 9 and honestly I’m surprised we didn’t lose the 4 blue chips before Wes became 5 with the propaganda machine reaching si cover story mid 90s advocating to end Miami football level negatively towards Miami.

If Terrence comes in portal with a couple stud de’s and we pull a few more blue chips I’m cool with a small class this year. Our 247 average is almost identical to last years great class.

We are lucky there hasn’t been a mass exodus of youth talent and having as many talented prospects committed as we do. Quality over quantity, may not look **** for recruiting rankings but we shouldn’t be taking Jenning types as fillers ever especially with the portal no sitting rule

He also knows we are making big improvements n committing to comleteubf in football with any team, independent or sec etc. He also probably was assured that Terrence is coming, Jennings is leaving, the scrub veterans will be gently encouraged to leave, Devon is de committing from Oregon n coming with Mario, and most importantly Patke will be banned from campus for life and if Strawley is retained she will not be involved in anything regarding football nor allowed to interact with staff/players.

And Wes knows we are committing to football. Honestly we really started to make an attempt with the hire of richt but there’s only so much you can do when you’re reporting to your butt buddy AD who is either as incompetent as Manny’s in game coaching or planning a Miami area political career by currying favor with Mayor Diaz by forgoing a hc search to buy out a unproven hc in record time.
The facilities are ten times better then before richt, hard rock is a top great stadium with epic acoustics when crowd is engaged and near or at capacity. Wes must have Also been told Miami fans have been traumatized for 20 years of crap fball n that we the fans, most have no real idea of what’s happening behind closed doors and have Bought in completely the narrative that Miami doesn’t care about football, doesn’t have the money nor will spend the money if they did. What’s true is we have a bot that is split on multiple decisions all trying to influence and are happy with weak hires in leadership to keep there control.

What Fenks letter should have said after herbstreits blasted Miami on game day and hopefully he told Wes is “Miami has the second highest money spent on assistants, only trailing Clemson, we are parting ways with bj and will be hiring a search team for the new AD, we are taking our time on the search to ensure Miami athletics and most importantly football are back to competing got championships. We are only targeting proven p5 AD’s and we are willing to goto 3mil+ to an elite AD to right the football ship n all other athletics that have become shi@ under bj. I just informed Manny that’s he’s fired along with bj. We are going to give tremendous control to the new ad, increase his staff and inject an additional 20-30 million more yearly on football. Once the AD is hired and the bot has given up significant control of football influence n decision making, we are cutting the bot that’s been involved with football previously in half. Any bot members pushing there agenda by leaks to the press whether true or factual will be removed from any athletic decisions or input no matter the sport.

We will bring in a proven p5 hc even if it’s in the 8mil a year before incentives. We will increase our assistants salaries to over come Clemson has the best paid assistants and will go as far as to rival bama n Georgia for oc/dc salaries so X new hc can get whomever he wants. The new ad will be forbidden from scheduling fcs teams ever. We are so confident that we will run Florida that we will offer a yearly game vs ucf to end the season so the acc can’t schedule Duke the last week. Florida is to afraid to schedule us consistently and FSU scheduling comes from the acc so we are creating an in state rival annual game with the big 12s newest member.

lastly Frenk would say, I may look like a intellectual nerd who doesn’t care about sports. That’s true, but the university will not lose its appeal due to media pundits attacking Miami and nothing will hurt our brand.
