i dont know who the silents are and whether we will get them, but at least on paper we have a significantly better recruiting staff than we've had in a long time. i'll be silent until this recruiting season is over and i'll disregard the noise. let's allow them do their work and let's see what they produce. we've done pretty good the last two years with some caca recruiters (rumph, baker) and theoretically we upgraded our recruiters significantly.

Not necessarily. Everyone has a breaking point, even those that start out above it all. I'm not saying that Marshall was one or the other. But it is plausible that an obscenely upped offer could have made him flip.

To me it’s as simple as this. We probably have kids that want to commit but have been told (parents including) that you have to shut it down or we are looking to fill those spots. Recruiting has been a mess for a long time down in the cess pull of South Florida. Something had to change. The big question? Can Manny close on these kids and make it work.

This month we’ll see who we grab as we seem to have a potential of 4 or 5 new commits.

Early NSD will be a big test to see who finishes with pen to paper

You're a side hoe. I can see like a couple hours, or a day. If you want to get an edit made (as a grown man it's difficult to type that, but I get it), if you want to tell your family, something like that. But weeks? Months? I'm sure I'm missing something here, and I'm genuinely not being a smart ***, but what does a kid like Shemar Stewart, as a generic example, gain or not gain by telling Manny he's committing but not telling anyone else. Is it really that big of a state secret? Does he want to be able to go to other places and get paid for visits? And if so, is Manny letting silent commits take visits but not public commits? This all seems so silly.

It’s like having a birthday party the Saturday before your birthday which is on that Monday or Tuesday. We know the weekend party is better, even tho it’s not our bday yet. Ppl still say happy birthday.
