Can’t really blame Manny for what happened, he got offered his dream job and he took it before he was ready because he knew it might not happen again. Our dumbass AD made the awful decision to not interview anyone else and pretty much offer the job to Manny on the spot. Mark Richt retired for the betterment of the program and instead of doing a thorough HC search we did that crap

I could be wrong, but objectively I thought Shannon was worse as a HC. I remember it being also said that he destroyed relationships with S FL high school coaches. He had three out of four quarterbacks transfer within a five month period. He lost to S Florida in his final game.

Maybe true, but he did prevent a major black eye on the program with probation. He kept a lot of trouble away from the program.

Golden was 3 times the evaluator and coach Manny was. Not sure why people even try to lump them in same category.

Manny left UM with the worst roster in 50 YEARS. Imagine Manny trying to coach here with sanctions

One of several bad coaches since Butch left. What a bad run. Richt gets the outlier slot for trying to rebuild a program. Then love for his son did him in. Rest seemed to just be excited to get the job. Mission accomplished.
