Manny Diaz is making his return back to Hard Rock Stadium to play an 8-0 undefeated Miami Hurricanes team.

Here is what Manny Diaz said about Miami when he was asked about his return:

“There's a great saying that 'no man crosses the same river twice before he's not the same man and it's not the same river' and that's really the way I look at it. I've grown. I'm different as a coach, as a head coach and as a man than when I was at Miami. Certainly, the program is in a different place, by every metric, from when I was there. So I'm at peace, I've moved on. We still go down there a lot.”

Manny Diaz was Miami’s head coach from 2019 through 2021. He had a 21-15 record and was fired after the 2021 season.

Diaz has his Duke Blue Devils team as a contender to finish near the top of the ACC this season, as they are 6-2 overall and 2-2 in the conference.

May his team not cross the 50 yard twice
(I know, too much to ask).

He was the worse than Golden in my opinion. Golden actually brought in some decent classes and beat Florida. He just had a fixation with Dorito. Manny might have beat FSU twice but some of the worst losses in program history were during his tenure among other things.
If Golden would have canned No D then he may have had more success here. He should not have sued.

Well for all my fellow haters....lets unite and pick up the slack for others.

FSU, UF, OSU, ND, Al Golden, Manny Diaz, etc...

Why wouldn't he be at peace? He's got another high-paying HC gig. He could retire and never have to work again.
i would be at peace too
if i could consistently fail foward like him
the way he had us dancing and stunting on the side line while getting bent over made us a clown show
just glad to be over this guy

💯 with you, good riddance to this clown. I just can’t ever get over the fact that he should have never been a Cane.
