You guys need to thank him and move on. He tried like **** to make it work but he just wasn't the guy.

He's completely right to be upset at how everything played out on twitter/social media. He should have been fired when Blake James got let go, regardless of Mario. But anyway that's life in 2021 with big time athletics. Good luck Manny!
**** that mither****er how bout dat

I got laid off in 2008 two weeks before Thanksgiving during the ****storm of the financial crisis and had to sit in HR while being let go with 4 weeks paid leave (like any company was hiring during Winter of '08-'09) and literally face-to-face sit there and give a half-hearted smile and be respectful upon exit. This while all of my **** was still at my desk and had to wait out on the street until someone brought my bag down.

If I could take it like a man and not choke that bytch's larynx out of her ears given the circumstances that put me in at the time, then **** Manny who should be set for life financially has absolutely no excuses.

Even if he was too emotionally devastated to write a nice farewell note, he should have just had someone do it for him.
I have a sneaky feeling he did have someone write it for him. Probably one if his dads speech writers. That note sounded like a scorned politician wrote it. Classless!

When I feel a little bad about Manny, I think how bad I felt watching all of those 3d and 4th and forever conversions his D-gave up that cost us 3 or 4 games. But, mainly I think about when he was talking tough about Culture but then he brought Jeff Thomas back.

Gave their all is correct…..that’s why some players had to go outside the program to get mri’s and X-rays. Playing injured sometimes weeks and being told “ you’re ok”. Then if you sit out games you destroy them to scouts / nfl personnel. Other kids playing with multiple serious injuries then finally getting tests with the results being serious injuries. Players having 3-4 concussions with no concussion protocol, going back in the games. When it was obvious they were loopy.

Hopefully Mario cleans the people out who co-signed this ****ery.
So now we’re pretending that stuff like this, e.g. playing players with serious injuries, having weak concussion protocols etc. were a Manny thing and don’t regularly happen at other programs as well? Okay lol.

Well I’m good friends with players that’s played at big programs and they said they’ve never heard of having to go outside the program because they couldn’t get tests. It’s a whole different level of anything they’ve seen. But way to defend it Smh, real classy.

I actually found it classy and I understand his pain behind this...it sucks to be fired no matter who you are....as I've said many times I wish him well and hope for the best
Also sucks to figure out how to DECISIVELY lose 3 times IN A ROW to the last guy who fired you. *camron voice* “nîggas get fired every day B, you’ll be iight”

Come on, in no way am I defending players not having ready access to x-rays and MRIs. That part is unacceptable and shameful. I hate the fact that it is the players who are often harmed in football programs. But it’s a reach to suggest the other things you listed are unique to Manny as a coach and are not a regular part of playing football.

What he did with King alone (and the other players) is absurd and doesn’t happen everywhere but whatevs..

I know the stuff still happens but just from what I’ve seen/know no one takes chances with concussions anymore

That’s ****ed up
