Major Applewhite to be named new offensive coordinator at Miami

247 seems to rely more on other sources such as Football Scoop and seems to refuse to acknowledge Stefan's scoop. No mention of it at all unless it's in Ivin's VIP access.

Stefan reported that the hire was done and nobody else has been able to confirm that in 12 hours. Please stop being a blind CIS homer.

It’s common sense. Stefan wanted to be first and reported a hire that never took place. Applewhite could very well be hired but the “news” from Stefan was rushed/guessing. That’s clear by now?

No doubt. There also could be reasons an announcement hasn't been made - whoever the hire may be. Something else of note - several CIS posters that usually have knowledge about these situations have been noticeably silent since yesterday afternoon.

Not sure if serious. Stefan reported that Applewhite was to be named OC, per multiple sources. How is this on him that he hasn’t been officially named yet? You want him to hold that info? I’d rather he’d keep the forum posted when multiple sources alert him to something, even if said info turns out to be wrong or delayed.

Thought of another way, what possible reason would Stefan have to simply throw crap at the wall in this instance? I think his sources may have jumped the gun, but that’s not on him and I’d rather he keep feeding us info.

Per multiple sources, Manny Diaz ,in a savage move, fires Applewhite before hiring him. Decision has caused confusion as nobody know what the **** is going on. Players notified and we’re quoted saying WAIT WHAT!

Pretty clearly players realize how much fans/reporters are hanging on to their nuts so they're messing with everyone.
