Consigliere, the reason I mentioned your age is because any grown man over the age of 40 shouldnt be holding grudges. Life is too short. You could die of a heart attack tomorrow holding grudges against mofos who did you wrong. Why should we ask Al to do the same?

Maybe Luke is fake, maybe he is not. But if Al is cool with him why not just stand behind him, like a true soldier, and have his back on it? As of now he is the Boss. And if the Boss says Luke is good, I am standing with him. If you want to stand on the other side, be my guest.

I appreciate the advice but I am not holding a grudge, The guy is a fake who openly bashes the program. This is proven and on the record. No matter what good Luke does, he already has done bad IMO. He can change or turn over a new leaf and that is great because if wants to ACTUALLY support the program this would be necessary.

I don't think about Luke other than when he is brought up by the board. I am not on twitter or social media, I am only responding to the OP and essentially giving my thoughts about the man.

As for Al, he is smart and he knows the BS he has to deal with down here in South Florida aka DIVA ***** ISLAND i.e. dealing with Luke. I trust AL, I just don't trust Luke. That is me.
 
i said it before some time earlier this year, but luke is all cane. i've heard the man talk at camps and it's canes 24/7.

people love to talk about how he hates the university, he hates golden and is racist, etc. but forget he criticized coker and he also criticized shannon. in fact, coaches in miami all criticized shannon, remember when people were talking about how he ignored kids and didn't recruit the city? yet somehow, there's this conspiracy against golden because he's white. luke's problem is simply this...he thinks all his kids are miami caliber. so when miami doesn't offer them all, he lashes out. but its about love for his kids more than its hate for miami. its gonna be hard for him to be objective considering he's been coaching some of these kids since pop warner. i haven't met a bigger canes fan.
 
Luke is all Cane... he just has a big mouth and a platform to stand on... he is diehard Cane...

i am not defending luke but i felt he was not really attacking the staff but just saying a kid like amari should be at the u and not in alabama.
 
Like him or don't, he's the DC at MNW. Props to Al for patching **** up and keeping some kids home who belong at The U.


Seems like Al has patched **** up with Ice too. Hopefully, that pays off too.


Doesn't matter what you think of guys personally, sometimes you have to work with them anyways.

No he didn't... Luke isn't Golden's most fiercest critics... Every time a kid from Dade he feels doesnt get an offer Luke expresses himslef... He has openly expressed himself in the past. Whether it was Butch, Coker or Shannon... Luke is the least of Golden's worries... The man loves the U he just feels Dade talent is better than anywhere else and all of its top players should attend the U. People lets get real... Golden isn't a great mind manipulator... Luke never said he disliked Golden or the U... Luke is pushing every kid here... Yes he's friends with Shannon but his allegiance is to the U...

I was just about to say...Luke criticsized his own homeboY Randy. **** Randy wasnt going to Central where Luke was coaching.

The only thing @ um..i know for a fact he is against is usually administration. And that is likely because of old thought process, and old things that may have did to him or he thought they did to him.

But as far as helping um get kids..hes likely numero uno. Joe Yearby our number 1 rb signee right now was coached by Luke throughout Optomist. Luke was selling um on Devunta Freeman for a min and we didnt even budge on the kid till Al came in late.

Guys i would worry about more so are the 7 on 7 guys that are creating an AAU culture. Guys like Luke arent on the take financially..those hanger on types and bad coaches will be more of a threat to al. The Genron's, Gatewood's...guys with more to gain...Luke and Ice should always be in our pocket. Especially Ice **** he sent TWO of his kids to the u.

No need to hold grudges especially when recruits are the ones hurt at the end. Plus, I don't want to **** up the relationship with MNW in anyway
 
One at a time, Golden is fixing things in South Florida. It's going to take time though.
