Texas could outbid anyone in a second if they wanted to- regardless of the fluctuation in the cost of a barrel of crude. We too often mistake the perceived fanaticism of the SEC schools with some sort of financial superiority. Schools like Texas and Michigan and Ohio State could outbid your average SEC school in a blink of an eye.....if they wanted to.

Herman is not leaving Houston, unless he becomes Nick Saban rich.... he already said that he and his family love Houston and don't plan on going anywhere (Happy Wife, Happy Life). ..plus it doesnt hurt because they might get added to the Big 12 on expansion next year....

Austin is far nicer than Houston by a mile. His wife will jump at the opportunity. He won't turn down the 'horns.

I am not sure that I want Jimbo to leave FSU. Without Jamis Winston, he has averaged almost 3 losses a year. That even in a time when UM and UF are down. But, if there is any way to get Muschamp to FSU, I will chip in $$$
