The QB's at LSU must eat or drink something that makes good looking QB prospects terrible as they go through their program. I've never seen as much talent at one spot wasted like it is there.
It's called les miles.

They'll get Jimbo
Your crazy $ talksThey'll get Jimbo
Jimbo aint leaving that team is stacked no way he leaves
LSU has a ton of financial issues within the State... I don't think they're going to go anything higher than 5-6 million. The bidding war between LSU and Texas for Tom Herman will be crazy
Lsu friend said deal didn't go through with jimbo because of money . Texas has Boosters with deep pockets & an unlimited war chest, they'll give Herman upwards of $6.5-7.5million a year to get him from Houston.
Just land Smith(WR) as he looks as smooth as Richards. I'll also take another DT or OT from that state if they have a good one.
Nice to know that our HC won't be bolting for a new gig.
Or rather hoping he does
It's settled jimbo to Lsu and golden takes the job at fsu
Now in answer to the poster's question. Pat Surtain the number one CB in the class of 18 is cb'ed to LSU. He's local and the staff is all over him. Any thing going wrong with that program can't hurt.

LSU's, or more specifically the state's financial issues, have nothing to do with the amount of money they'll spend on a college football coach. The universities themselves pay very little of the salaries the top coaches are making. That's where boosters and such take over to drive prices sky high.
Unless you're part of a very small circle at either school, the rest is just pure speculation based on nothing.
The general consensus is that they'll get Jimbo to go over there, and I think it'd happen as well. The real question at that point would be to watch who goes over to FSU and what recruits we're in the running for that we're competing with FSU for.
I know it's early, but LSU will lose some more games and Les Miles will probably be fired, "this time". I know if they make a splash hire, if Miles is fired, that could change things as well. Who are the current LSU commits we currently recruiting, guys we competing against them for and who do we turn up the heat on?
Are you ever going to learn?...They may fire Miles but the SEC bagmen aren't going anywhere. It's still going to be tough recruiting against those guys no matter who their coach is.
Their recruiting might even get better if they have a real coach, which is hard to imagine
