As a past member of a private board that the OP was or still might be associated with I will just say I left that board for this one because there’s actual info AND talk about football on this site.I hated to leave there but the site got less about football and more about ing and moaning.That site also lost a lot of its posters with inside knowledge cause other posters that brought nothing to the site would bludgeon them whenever the info they gave happened to turn out not quite perfect.All that great info from those posters ALL dried up.They said “FCK IT” its not worth the name calling and the name calling I’ll keep the info to myself.And they did.

I also see a bunch of past or present members from that site here on this site daily.Theres a reason they are here and not there. Looking for info and good football talk I guess.Ill just say as someone who is in Louisiana ,away from things so to speak ,I appreciate ALL of the info that is brought by everyone to the site.

NO ONE Is going to be 100% right when it comes to recruiting.**** I’d say if your right 75% of the time you’re well connected.These kids have become soooo much worse in wanting to “play the game” and add suspense to their recruitment due to social media it’s crazy.They all want to Be reality stars.You very rarely get a kid like Lo or Duke or even Ty for that manner( even though he’s headed elsewhere apparently) that handles their recruitment like an adult and without all the “ look at me” BS.I hate it that Ty may not be a Cane but the kid handled his recruitment like an adult.Didnt commit/decommit.Didnt badmouth anyone.Didnt promise anything.Evidently he liked another school more than the hometown one.Hate to lose him but it won’t stop this class from adding a shtload of kids that will help bring us back to prominence.

I’ll just finish my rant by saying thanks to ANYONE that brings info to the board.That info can always come with the “ TIFWIW “ attached because it’s always going to be in a state of flux because you never know when a bag will arrive,a kid will get ****ed or have his feelings hurt or his girlfriend will lead him by the nose elsewhere or he gets up on the wrong side of the bed.WTF knows why these kids do what they do.

The Bakas site was decent at the best of times.

I don't even know if he was a Miami fan.

This site has always been better than that one.

I don't recall this site "always" breaking commits. Much like a given news outlet doesn't always break a piece of news, no Miami site is going to always break a commit or new, juicy piece of info.

I think Ariz and Dmoney do a fine job with this board.

It's true there are some dregs that show up at times. Perhaps there should be a 3-month period for someone new before they can post to reduce the number of trolls (except for ex-Canes or Cane family members).

The site isn't perfect, but I think that it's quite good - especially since Ariz is still quite young (and I don't think Dmoney is too much older - maybe his early 30s).

For awhile mike b was breaking all the commits and had the inside news. Then either his sources left or what not but then other guys were breaking commits and we’d read about it. Here it seems either Pete’s sources are gone or he’s doing really well (I hope) and breaking recruiting stories or commits is down on the list of importance.
