Louisville to the ACC

This is where UCONN has the advantage...academics. I wouldn't mind Louisville but I think I prefer Cincy.

The ACC could always vote next year or if the need arose on the addition of the two who don't get invitations this time. Cincy was making a strong case as far as I have read.

Ultimately, this will end up a 16 school super-conference (for basketball at least).

Seems as though ND will join for football as well within the next 5 years. They just have to write up a good contract that allows them to keep the TV contract with NBC. That also gets the ACC onto NBC I believe.

Good.

Now they don't get to win 10 games a season having to play us, FSU, Clemson, UNC, GT, VT instead of UCONN, USF, Syracuse, etc...

Now we will see what yo're made of Corch Strong

We gon get in that ***

That's a good add, will keep ACC basketball strong, adds a pretty decent football school.

They can always add UCONN later.

ACC will certainly be the king basketball conference for a while and if Miami/FSU/Clemson/VaTech can hold up their end of the bargain, the football can be more respected.

As much as I hate Louisville, I hate UConn even more. Nice to see Richard Blumenthal's state university being left behind in the Big Least.

This is becoming less and less about academic compatibility and more about money and TV markets. And as outlandish as it might sound, the ACC would do well to at least give serious consideration to one or both of UCF/USF and nail down one of the largest TV markets in the country and preventing a conference like the Big12 trying to gain a footprint.

Maryland for Louisville is a good trade (regardless of the money), Louisville is a better program (basketball and football).

Gives this conference more depth that it is seriously lacking. Just worried about the recruiting footprint that Louisville already has in sf and if its now gonna cause even more competition.

I want out of the ACC now now now

And go where???? What exactly do we bring to the table in our current situation?

We bring a lot more than the average team. Schools still get up and play us. People still love to watch and want us to be destroyed. I believe we get some of the highest TV viewership out of all the schools.

Now I am not concerned with this realignment BS, we will land on our feet.

If the Big 12 is looking to expand into Florida, they're coming after FSU.

I said it would be Louisville but it was later explained by some posters I was wrong , there was no chance with their horrid academics. Ha ha. Yeah . Sure . Academics. That's why the Acc is building a super conference, academics.
