Golden was right...those extra bowl practices sure are important to improving the team's performance. Imagine what we could have done with one more week.

Pluses?

Hmmm...

Defensive Line played a little better than usual. Looks like we were allowed to attack more often.

Uhhh...

Gus Edwards.

Ehhh...

That's all I got. Everything else was a huge minus. We got our *** whooped.

Strong woodsheded coley... Schooled him. Golden was too busy taking pics of Cinderella's castle should have spent time motivating and Morris was what we thought he was. Oh and no Duke to bail us out.

Nothing positive to take away, my worst nightmare, another offseason hearing how well things are going only to be disappointed.

As bad as most aspects of the team were at times during the season how the offensive line could be so sihtty is baffling.

I can't tell how much to weight our sucking vs. not caring. We suck and we didn't want to play the game. Way to represent the University of Miami. The other team taunts you, and you say "I'm sorry, please don't hurt me." The other team throws up the "U" and you look at the clock hoping it says 0:00. Pathetic. Oh, yeah, even if we cared, I don't think we could done much anyway. God****, we suck.

If I wasn't so ****ed at Miami, I'd be ****ed at Louisville for being classless and throwing it up 27 with 2 minutes left, but who cares, we deserved it.

Their O coordinator schooled D'O badly. They knew when we were blitzing, called a screen and gashed us.

Hurns broke the single season receiving record, maybe a plus, maybe not. He dropped an easy 1st down on the 1st possession.

It boggles my mind how ******* horrible this defensive scheme is.

Forget the fact we predictably play cover 3 on over 75% of the snaps....the fact that this ******'s scheme calls for a Defensive end to back peddle into coverage and cover a slot receiver....is just......infuriating.

I've been watching football a LONG time. I've played it, and coached it....and I've NEVER seen something this schematically ridiculous.

Lost in all this mess is Coley's offense. It's official this guy is simply a slighly more radical Pat Nix. We either run the ball or playaction and throw deep. There is nothing in this offensive system that lends itself to moving the chains, sustaining drives, and keeping momentum going.

The offensive absolutely ignores the middle of the field and makes absolutely no sense to me. 4th and 9 in the red zone and this mother ****** empties the backfield knowing full well UL has been blitzing all game and the line hasn't been able to adjust.

Onfrio is the worst...but many of you are underestimating just how bad Coley is. In way over his head and has no business calling plays....I've been saying it all season.

Most of u know I wrote a thesis about how great a recruiter Al was. But the jury was out about his development skills. Well, the verdict is in ATM. How the **** does 2 star Charles Gaines look better then 4 star Artie Burns? How the **** do the second and third tier guys from Dade that UL has look better then our first tier guys? I fear that our coaches are not developing our guys. This defense got WORSE as the year went on for Christs sake!

I am really disappointed with how this team ended the season. A 9 win season is okay and all but to end it with a blowout loss is unacceptable. It basically turns the season into an utter failure because that is all I am going to remember. Smh.

Positives:

Walford
Gus Edwards
Porter

Negatives:
Morris
O-line
Gunter
Burns- true frosh gets a bye from me
The coaching staff
Play calling

I like you Dan, but that GIF ain't ******* negative enough. And I'm a ******* polyanna!!!!!!!!! I need to go have a drink with Smokeyrone.

I thought Gus looked good. He also seemed to get better as the season went on. Definite power back that we sorely missed in this years offense. Next year he should get a lot of carries, especially on short yardage downs. Then we won't have to ruin Duke and beat him up. Should help our atrocious 3rd down conversion rate.

Coach D should be fired tonite or I'm mailing in next season as 6-6. Coley = junior high O coord.............in other words we are ****ed unless Golden replaces both!!!

I appreciate your attempt at being positive, but SHUT-UP!

Motivation is a problem. That is on Golden no swag.
Need some grownups on the coaching staffs. A mature hour all around. Golden needs to bring in big time assistants under the new rules.

Pos

ThatTE got knocked the **** out.

I still think Morris is the reason for the offense sucking balls. He consistently misses **** underneath. He throws into coverage way too much. Not saying Coley is awesome. But ******* Morris blows ******* goats.

I do actually think Golden has developed the players well.

The problem is that the Senior class is utter dog**** (can't polish a ****) and most of the Junior class was cobbled together at the last minute.

The Sophmores and Freshmen are by far the most talented players on our roster and they're not ready yet. Burns is a Freshman - he was there or there abouts on the three big plays he gave up. He doesn't give those up as a Junior.
