Louisville @ Clemson 11/2

yeah disagree on GT's defense. They aren't a top 20 unit nationally, but they have been awful in recent years, and they are much improved this season.

-27th nationally in total defense
-24th nationally in run defense
-10th nationally in 3rd down defense
-47th nationally in scoring defense

The point is last season GT had a good offense, and their defense was pathetic.

Now when Miami plays them, if King is playing, they will have a good offense, and their defense is much better, and can actually provide resistance. They are more balanced of a team than in recent years, by a margin. The issue with them lately, is King has been out, and there is a sizeable drop off between King and the backup.
I'll go with much improved, but they're not good.

Ga Tech has played the following:

FSU (W, 24-21)
Ga State (W, 35-12)
@Syracuse (L, 31-28)
VMI (W, 59-7)
@LVille (L, 31-19)
Duke (W, 24-14)
@UNC (W, 41-34)
ND (L, 31=13) No Haynes King
@ Va Tech (L, 21-6) No Haynes King

I want it because they’ve pushed our **** in in big games for a while. I want Clemson.
You want revenge…There’s Kansas State, LSU, Notre Dame, Penn State…

Clemson has looked better, but they have possibly played the worst teams in ACC to this point.

NC State
WF
FSU
Stanford
UVA

Those may ranked 12-17 in league. Also 5 of the worst defenses in ACC and country.

The schedule for Clemson gets much much tougher. The best team they have played post UGA is UVA. Ewww

Im not sure Clemson doesnt drop a game here last month. Their defense has some issues.

Also im not sure Miami doesnt drop a game a game either. Its hard to
Go Undefeated, you get everyones best shot, and you need some lucky bounces.

The game that really worries me is @GT. They get 2 weeks to prepare, and get Haynes King back, and @DMoney said other day that GT defense isnt good, false. Much improved unit. They really got after VTs run game did much better job than us.

GT is good at LOS on both sides, and if Haynes is back, watch out.

Also Miami has to play on campus much tougher atmosphere than say ND had to where it was in Mercedes Benz dome.
I'm hoping to make this game in Atlanta

GT all comes down to Haynes King's health. We absolutely need to get home and get him to the ground, early in that game.
sounded like a shoulder issue. Probably much like TVD had. No surgery so it's certainly susceptible to reijury with a big hit or two.

I like Louisville. Clemson hasn’t played anyone with a pulse.

I agree. I think this is one of those games where college kids get complacent because they have had mostly scrimmages all season against bad teams. Louisville can put up points fast, Clemson hasn’t played any offense like this yet. I think UL jumps out to a couple TD lead early and win in a shootout. Loooeyvilles offense is quite a bit better than UGAs and UGA smoked Clemson. This is pretty late in the season to really get challenged for the first time (besides the opening game *** kicking) and I think Clemson is going to get surprised.

I have been to GT 5 times to see Miami play. In 16 there were at least 10k Miami fans in the stadium and the stadium was maybe 2/3rds full. Not a tough environment at all. Good weather next week I would expect another huge Miami turnout.

Hoping someone catches Clemson on an off day I would really like it to be Miami -SMU.

Ive been to several GT games also, my point wasnt that the environment is tough, BUt that it is tougher than playing at the Dome which has no atmosphere at all.

If game is close, you can bet it'll be the loudest its been in years there.
