Sorry to say rivers definitely got abused. That play is meant to go to the right side through the A gap. Rivers lets his man crash all the way in to wreck the play from the jump. RB had to cut back just to try to make a play and make him miss which makes him run right into Lou’s man, which he actually blocks out correctly if rivers kept his man pinned to the left.

Rivers got abused???? WTF are you looking at? Rivers seals his guy and McCormick seals his guy out leaving a gap for the RB to run through until Lou gets *** raped by the prisoner in Shawshank

Ok, hard to say without knowing the play call but that looked like a cross block especially since the hole looked to be to the left based on the way McCormick blocked it.

I’ll side with the two guys that have been playing the whole year vs a first time starter.

Months ago the plan was for him to join the staff after his eligibility was done. I assume that is still true, but many plans have already changed since early in the season.. We shall see.
