Looks like Knighton committed

Who said Olsen couldn't because NJ doesn't allow it? I thought it was high school that was the issue.

NJ does have a pretty messed up high school system, so things can work one way for one kid, and a completely different way for another.

And yes it's moeller that won't allow him to graduate

#UM commit Hunter Knighton said he was worried about fitting in at #Miami. Few hours into the visit, he knew it was where he wanted to be.

Knighton was terrified of Eddie Johnson

Toal said as much as well during his recruitment. Wonder if its a white NJ thing. Miami is too "urban" for some white guys.

Moeller is Gall's High School. Wayne Hills is where Olsen attends. Hopefully just a high school issue only pertaining to Olsen's and not Knighton's.

Good point, but NJ whites seem to fit in better than the average Southern or midwestern white. Golden being the prime example.

I can attest to Jersey whites fitting in with urban Miami.

It really depends where, I gather. I know Larrrrrrry is NJ so he can attest, but I gather that some heavily white areas - summit, Princeton, Bergen, etc will be tough pulls and places closer to Philly or closer to the shore might be easier pulls. Lorenzo, what say you?

Who was the other white LB stud out of NJ some years back who backed out at the end as well?

I can think of at least one Jersey white who is physically unable to fit within Dade County.

Jersey is the most densely populated state in USA. Very diverse ethnically being so close to NYC and Philly metro. Most can handle Coral Gables, not sure they can handle Overtown though. lol

Yes but also lots of heavily white areas and even lots of rural areas (Sussex, etc).

Matt Sweeney ftw!!!
