Can’t have a problem with drops when you’re skill set is primarily a receiver as a TE

HES BEEN AWAY FROM HOME FOR OVER 3 YEARS..HOMESICK PPL LEAVE RIGHT AWAY.

HE AINT LIKE HIS FIT IN THE OFFENSE AND THE WRITING LIKELY WAS ONT HE WALL THAT HE WOULD BE THE SAME GUY AND INLINE BLOCKER WHILE WE WOULD HAVE ANOTHER TYPE OF MOVE TE.

HE ENTERED THE PORTAL AFTER WE TARGETED TWO POSSIBLE RECEIVING TES IN THE PORTAL.

He is only a junior with next to 0 production. He aint off to **** 🤣 .

Look, I'm no fan of the "homesick" story angle. He may indeed go pro in a year.

But he enrolled at UM in January 2023. So he has been away from Oregon for less than two years, not "over 3 years".

He had 8 receptions in 2023. He had 7 receptions in 2024. I'm sorry, I don't think this is his "last szn" before the NFL.

That is all.

THOUGHT HE WAS A SR.

HE LEFT HIS HOME HIS SR YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL. HE'S BEEN GONE 3 YEARS HE WENT TO IMG HIS JR YEAR SPRING.

I THOUGHT HE WAS A SR. THIS MAKES IT WORSE.

His production would of went up a bit this year for sure and were about to have a top 2 round te.

I cant tell u the last te we had that started that didnt get drafted sooooo had he stayed it would of happened regardless of his production.

I didnt realize he had 2 more szns. Its not that hard to understand.

Most of you will drop on your knees for the Warren kid from PSU and he had 10 whole catches in the same time frame as Williams. Before this year Elijah Arroyo sure was killing the game with production.

THIS WAS THE YEAR FOR RILEY WILLIAMS TO BREAK OUT HERE. He just so happened to transfer out for "homesickness" and lack of receiving opportunities. (my opinion his reason for leaving)

Respectfully, why? We had 3 amazing OTs last season in Cici, Rivers and Bell, all probably go in first 3-4 rounds of NFL. Samson wouldn't still be on this team with the NIL he's making unless Mirabalio believed he would be our starting OT in the future.

ok but Warren still had to get on the field n prove it, obviously we KNOW that he's a stud now but I'm not sure anybody was clamoring for him or projected him to be best TE in CFB when all he had was 10 catches.. & how many ppl said arroyo would be a 1st/2nd round TE b4 the season started? ... Im not saying Williams couldnt breakout nxt yr here but Ive seen nothing from his play here to suggest that its a given up to this point but thats just my 2 cents. at least u could tell b4 this yr if arroyo was healthy he looked like a very promising talent w great/elite traits minus the production. Williams looked just alright to me didnt see anything elite flash.

next year will be his 3rd year here, that "5 star" talent is gonna have to show up at some point soon is all im saying. I was moreso agreeing w/ the point that maybe his 5 star rating wasnt accurate given the development he needed to sniff the field here while Cici was appropriately rated as a 5 star talent.

B/c a JUCO guy came in & took his spot or did u forget that part? The same JUCO guy that was getting manhandled by the speed rush all yr, although Rivers coming back helped him.
 
If we had Riley Williams I would’ve felt good about the TE room. So I’m surprised he left because of production. Would’ve gotten most of the Arroyo and McCorrmick snaps imo
