Why are you purposefully leaving out the freshmen that hit the field this year in Aguirre and Pulliam. Both of which you’ll see quite a bit on the bowl game.

As for Bryant, he’s going from rush end to standup LB. The transition so far hasn’t been great, but he’s an athlete and is coming on late in the season. Would like to see him in the bowl against Butgers

ND also has the Duke DT (competing with FSU for him), Riley Leonard and the Washington State WR Kelly visiting them this weekend. They are going nuts in the portal in getting top guys to visit.

Honestly I’m fine with adding Riley and JT’s son as depth. I think we done a really good job recruiting there. Balom looked talented when he was playin, Jaden and Markeith have shown talent as well. Add Zaquan, Day and Ryan and we got a really good room.

Absolutely not. This is how we stay 6-6 to 8-4. Balom was our 5th Safety this year for a reason. Jaden and Markeith, both talented prospects but we have no idea how they would handle a full time role. Those guys plus 3 true freshman, 2 of them being middle of the pack kids (and I even like Day’s film) doesn’t equal a “very good room”. We need an experienced, established impact player back there. Honestly 2 of them, but definitely 1 at minimum.

they feel like theyre close. 9-4 last year and a shot to get to 10-3 this year.

In theory, I agree, but Kam and JW were experienced and established and it was really shaky back there. We need consistent play at safety.
 
hopefully good news is, a ton of the young talent should be able to showcase in the bowl game for us.
