So we’ve failed to add
QB
RB
2nd WR
DE
LB
2nd saftey

I think all of these positions were fairly important to shore up the roster and taking off my orange and green glasses, unless a lot of young guys step up next year we are not going to be very good.

Today this is a 6-6 team in 2025.
We have a spring portal window... You know the same window we literally added RB, WR, DE, and LB all last season lol.

I'd say 2nd WR is a fail cause we clearly were trying to reel in a big fish. And obviously Qb. The rest imo are nbd as of right now. I have no problem waiting until spring for other additions....What happens at Qb (or if anything happens) is the only thing that really matters aside from hiring a good DC from now until spring portal.

That’s over dramatic

The team as it stands is not a 6 win team, nickel/emory were an 8/9 win team

We also didn’t get Damien Martinez and sam brown until the spring portal

No RB is coming to sit behind fletcher and Lyle so complaining about not landing a 3/4th string RB in the winter portal is just silly

I don't see how we're an 8-9 win team with those 2 QBs,we were barely a 10 win team with the best QB in the game.

I don't think they were looking for a RB.

We could add all of those things you listed and if we don’t get a qb we’d still be 6-6. We easily could’ve lost to vatech and cal. Which would’ve put us at 8 wins with a heisman caliber arm. Our schedule next year is actually solidly tough

The schedule is never as easy or tough as initially perceived. There is always a surprise team in the ACC and a couple preseason favorites end up being mediocre when all is said and done.

I'm worried we are relying on young guys taking a big step at too many positions - QB, WR, LB, probably DL, and Safety (unless one of the CBs successfully moves there). There's potential at each of those positions for sure but if no one steps up in a big way at each of those positions in the spring we better be aggressive addressing in the spring portal window. Been burned way too many times over the years by assuming a young/unproven guy was just going to step in and be great.
