My hope and thought is right now the plan is to round out this roster, specifically on the defensive side and secondary to help put our floor at 10 wins with an Emory.

I don't think it's possible to do that if Emory is our QB next year. I'm not saying we can't win 10 games with Emory as our QB next year.

Next year, if he turns out to be an above average ACC QB, we have a knockout portal class, we see development from the talented young players on the team, and we get better defensive coaching (whether by way of new coaches or electroshock therapy), then we could win 10 games if things break our way.

Say he starts and shows that he has no business being a starting QB at Miami. Possible. Then there's no portal class that we could sign that would get us to a ceiling of 10 wins, nevermind a floor.
