- At cornerback, Miami is looking for some proven starter-level talent and two early names to keep in mind are Washington State's Ethan O'Conner (four interceptions, a pick-six, 12 pass breakups in 2024) and Arizona's Emmanuel Karnley (five pass breakups in 2024). Watch a lot of Wazzu this year (longing for Kyle Williams) and O’Conner was pretty good. He’s not a burner but knows how to play the ball in the air. He doesn’t bite on shoulder warfare at the line either.
