There is no way they let the AD make a third football hire, he already failed with Mullen and Napier.

The only fail on Mullen was letting him go. He turned them from 4-7 to almost playing for the NC. One bad season (ton of injuries) and they hosed him. THAT is what kept interest down during this last coaching cycle. Coaches don't play that. Need job security.

For all Mario is or isn't as a gameday coach and the lack of interview process for other candidates, I am not sure what our exit strategy from Manny would have been without him.

Lane Kiffin was begging for the job.. but outside of him, who knows.

Apparently Oregon fans aren’t too thrilled as far as depth goes. They think he’s up there as their biggest loss to the portal. He wasn’t going to start since they brought in the Houston DT, but apparently did well in the Spring game and they figured he’s ready to contribute in the two deep based on how he looked.

Early suitors could be Utah and Washington. Originally flipped from UW to Oregon.

Wouldnt mind going for him. I just looked up and the big guys Nakos or Zenits havent tweeted him out yet. Im sure once his name hits he will get more suiters than just UW and Utah.
