I'd take Patrick Jenkins from Tulane over Barrow if he entered.
But Barrow looks locked to LSU I'd think... If not LSU We probably get him.

I expect Chase Smith to leave regardless...
And Cloyd probably was slightly better. But he already played less snaps than Wes. And all indications are Wes has improved and staff believes he's going to be one of the top 2 for sure at LB.

Staff has been hyping up Wes since moment Mario got him to commit and stepped on campus but he's severly underwhelmed for 2 years now. No reason to believe the light cant come on now but LOL at anyone who thinks we shouldnt try to upgrade.

Better to spend limited NIL money on a DT? Yeah sure, but if you can upgrade at LB for reasonable amount, you go for it.

Wes was a True Freshman and sophmore.

Underperforming? Guys usually dont walk out of the prom then start dominating out the gate.

He had 44 tackles/6.5 TFL/2 sacks as a rotational LB last season. Thats pretty dang solid. He took another step this spring, and was really good in spring game. He looks poised to be a good LB and starter this season when in year 3 you are supposed to really perform.

Yup considering we lost Chaney, Parish, and Citizen to the portal, CWH is unlikely to be ready this year, Lyle aint on campus yet and like you mentioned Fletch and Allen are nicked up. So we lost 3 contributors last year and brought in 2 TF 1 of which aint no way he ready and feel like he (CWH) could possibly move to corner. He camped there a few times and looked good. So lost 3 and now we taking 3, math checks out

CWH was one of the better RB's in the spring game. He's not moving to CB anytime soon.
