Look at Baez shade on Tyler Byrd lol

I am as upset as the next fan, but let's be honest about the Byrd situation.

We don't have enough money or support to lure top quality players consistently. We are relying on legacy players from the '80s.

We don't have enough money for our own stadium.

It's sad. Look at the picture in the tweet. We don't even have enough money to light up our own sign. It's half lit!! Seriously, you can't make this stuff up.

We don't even have enough money or support to have a message board server that will host media files, pictures, videos etc....

We need to be realistic about this.

I don't think we have a problem luring in top quality players consistently. We still have the second most players in the NFL despite being horrible for the past decade. Tennessee isn't even in the top 10, they've always had a problem getting top players consistently. $$$ has helped recently, but they are still a trash program, with trash coaches. Big mistake on this kid's part, which he'll find out soon enough.

Tennessee has double the players in the Super Bowl than we do, but this isn't about Tennessee, their Super Bowl players or even their stadium

We just don't have the support we need to reel in top recruits consistently. Byrd is a glaring example.

Don't say we, you're obviously a troll. We clearly have everything we need to bring in top players, as evidenced by the number of players we have in the NFL. Bringing up a small sample size of two teams to downplay the wealth of talent we have the NFL shows how much of a troll you are.

We had 7 players drafted last year with our half lit sign. Your program, on the other hand, with it's top notch facilities (the building of which helped put your athletic program over $200 million in debt in 2013), high priced coaching staff and your 100+ thousand screaming, inbred mutations produced a big fat goose egg in the 2015 draft. Nice return on your investment...lol

lol, they can borrow that catch phrase too. Fitting since they've got Golden 2.0 as HC

I think comparing ourselves to Tennessee is a loser's game. I don't think we should do it.

If you look at pictures:

....it's obvious why Tennessee flipped the Byrd on us and why Williams chose them too.

We need to focus on OUR support and be honest about why it was a no-brainer we were going to lose top recruits.

40 NFL alumni vs. 27 NFL alumni. 5 DB's vs 2 DB's. I could understand losing a guy to Bama or LSU, it would make sense. Makes no sense to lose a recruit to Tennessee.

....you obviously didn't look at the pictures.

We don't have that kind of support.

5 NC to 1 since 1967. 2nd most players currently in the NFL (didn't see your program listed in the top 10). 7 players drafted last year to UT's 0, Yeah, the comparing of programs is a loser's game....in our favor. Now, if you want to compare programs that do the least with their respective resources you guys probably dominate us there.

I think where most of us err is trying to drag Tennessee into this.

It isn't Tennessee, it's us.

We have about 7k fans in the stadium and we tweet out pictures of our sign where we can't even find enough support to light it.

can You obviously haven't seen pictures of the OB when we were smashing everyone. Our stands have always looked empty (even during our prime) all except for our FSU and big games. You don't go to an institution because of how many hillbillies you have in the stands. You go to the place that will get you to the next level. Which is very obvious in this case even when we are down we still send kids to the NFL (which is why they all play the game). so please don't sit there and say "well we don't have the support" because we never have.

Dude, nobody gives two ***** about Tennessee. Be gone.

......and yet we still churn out more NFL players than your program. lol....What are you guys doing wrong? Why, with all of those resources, hasn't UT been able to keep pace with UM in terms of developing NFL talent despite us having hired 3 straight garbage HCs over the last decade and a half?
