I don't think we have a problem luring in top quality players consistently. We still have the second most players in the NFL despite being horrible for the past decade. Tennessee isn't even in the top 10, they've always had a problem getting top players consistently. $$$ has helped recently, but they are still a trash program, with trash coaches. Big mistake on this kid's part, which he'll find out soon enough.

Tennessee has double the players in the Super Bowl than we do, but this isn't about Tennessee, their Super Bowl players or even their stadium

We just don't have the support we need to reel in top recruits consistently. Byrd is a glaring example.

Tennessee is going to be dangerous this year. I thought they would win the east last year but they blew games. I think they get over the hump this time.

UGA and UF have new QB's & josh Dobbs is a senior. If they don't make it to the sec championship, butch Jones should be fired.

I would like to apologize for "can". He clearly represents a very small and immature portion of the Tennessee fanbase. It's silly for someone like him to come to your board and act like a child simply to get a rise out of the fans of another well-respected program that we (as fans and alum of UT) don't even share a natural rivalry with. This kind of reaction is childish and immature and certainly not representative of Volnation proper.
You have hired a great coach and a great man in Richt. Good luck to the Canes in 2016.

I know this isn't the purpose of this board but... not getting to ATL would be a disappointment for sure but firing another coach would be a terrible idea at this point. He took over a program with band members as walk-ons. No coach/recruit with any clout wants to go somewhere that has no stability (which is something we've been trying to reestablish).
As mediocre (lousy?) as Golden was, at least he got plenty of chances to prove himself.

I argued witht he same folks on the board last year..who were on the "tenn is gonna be a beast...tenn gonna win the east.." the same sh*t is said every year..they are a sh*t team..with recruiters as coaches...they are what we have been the last few years...and we hate ourselves...but yet prop up Tenn as on the cusp....on the cusp of what exactly?..That school has no chance of winning an mnc...or even the sec
