Yes! People are used to a MIKE in the Ray Lewis, Dan Morgan, Jon Vilma, Jon Beason's mold. We knew coming in he was not an elite starter level MIKE.

It's not his fault we've recruited poorly. He's a contributor that should be used as rotational depth and special teams. They're not all going to be All Conference.

That is correct. I don't think his future is at any position, but am on board with trying him on D-Line for depth.

I've had this thought. Not sure why coaches don't try it (similar cases before). Arm length? Twitch? Hips? What's the determining factor at not trying it? It'd be hard to move him off the line IMO.
