I hated what that guy would do to the Buccs and he is still one of my all time favorite receivers.

A 5’9” receiver that played on the outside, strong as ****, Mossing dudes bigger than him with a long stride like he was 6’4”. Dude was amazing.

Moss was elite fast in the NFL let alone college. Dude could not only scoot but was great make cuts at full speed. I think Ray Ray has it in the cuts but if he had the speed to match he would be a 5 star. That’s not to say Ray Ray is slow, he is fast just not that fast.

Tana is the best "overall" (recieving...PRs & KOs) offensive threat in UM History....Period

Wasn’t Santana a part of 4x100 relay with Daryl jones that won the big East championship and didn’t he own the school record in the 60? The only guy we are recruiting that is in that same class of speed is Harbor.

Think some of these guys have forgotten how much explosive speed we had back then.. It was amazing, I pray we get there again again, SOON..

Moss had an 85 yard punt return TD in the fourth (or late third) quarter against BC, last home game of 2000. I swear I’d be hard pressed to remember a highlight of anyone faster down the sideline. I think it was the TD where he removed his helmet and said ‘What?!‘ to the camera man. We’ve all seen that meme.

Best part is Butch pulled Tana from game, up, 45-6. Didn’t want to RUTS, I assume. Next punt returner was Daryl Jones. Result? 88-yard punt return TD, 52-6 Canes. I still laugh. There was a camera shot of Butch looking over at BC HC Tom O’Brien, saying ‘sorry…’.

Speaking of Daryl Jones, always though he was an excellent player. Made plays. Wasn’t Reggie or Santana or Dre, but contributed when called upon. I think he scored the winning TD in a 45-44 OT win at BC a few seasons earlier. 4th-and-goal-and-game play from between the BC 15 and 20. Clement TD pass.

I was at the OT BC game. Moss just had a different gear. He was a kid Miami just needed to get the “Miami” back. I think most Canes fans loved Daryl Jones. I know I did.

Butch LOVED Tana....I was standing on the sidelines of the 2000 BC game. And yes, it was the Santana "What" game....

Your right that punt return looks fake. Him turning the corner was legit elite speed.
