My guess is he took issue with the fact that you turned something positive into a negative over a really insignificant detail. Not really a big deal that year with all the suspensions and chaos.
Maybe it's because someone is spouting inaccurate statements as facts when they are not facts. If it was insignificant, then it would not have been in his statement to begin with. If we ignore Randy's fourth year his record improvement looks just as good as Golden. Funny different things look when you change facts or in this case present the actual truth.
Nothing wrong with being supportive of Golden, but don't be a clown and state a lie to prove your point, and then downplay its significance when you are called out for it.
He said better record for 3 years to show that the team has improved. Relax. Mope. It wasn't until the detail police came running in that he layed out more data. And by the way, since you brought it up, Randy was on the staff for this **** that lead to the negatives you listed. Randy isn't the coach anymore. Deal with it. Golden has improved some things, but we need to see it more on the field consistently.
I wanted Randy to succeed. I want Golden to succeed. Not going to turn a positive momentum thread into horse**** over a record from 3 years ago during which players were suspended and media was calling for the death penalty.
