Louisiana Lightning needs to dial up more zone. Cover 2 Man under is fine to mix in but Shut will gouge explosives if we stubbornly stay in man the entire game. Ironically, this is the one QB that will play into our QB pressure rate ala Mendoza IF we can tackle in short pass / screen game -- which we have not shown the propensity to do with effect. 2 weeks to prep this ***** and bring out a true championship level defense. Should win by 10+ if we limit explosives. Clemple has also shown to be explosive and Klubnik is showing his potential as of late. We need to tighten this up.

Against 4 FBS teams they've had 36 drives with 50+ available yards to start. 12/36 drives they've gotten 40%+ of available yards on a single play. 50% TD-rate on those drives and 4 points per drive. On other 24 drives they have an 8% TD-rate and .96 points per drive.

For comparisons sake (exluding FAMU and Ball St) we've have 41 drives with 50+ available yards. 10/41 we've had a single play of 40%+ available yards. 100% TD rate (pretty pretty pretty good lol) for 7 points per drive. Remaining 31 drives we have a 39% TD rate & 4.9 3 points per drive.

Limit their big plays and don't give them short fields via turnovers and/or special teams blunders and we gonna boat race this team
