The one solution to our recruiting is.....THIS UPCOMING SEASON. We put a good product on the field and continue to have our guys being talked about their high draft status (Taylor, Kam, JW, Messidor, TVD, Cohen, Lee, etc), we WILL get kids flipped like flapjacks in December. There is ZERO doubt in mind we can end up in the Top 5 class with a good year and guys getting high draft predictions. I have faith we will. GO CANES!!!

bro, 5-7 is hard to sell. FSU was hot dog water for 5 years straight and Norvell, in his 5th year has changed the momentum. Mario has been here only 2 and got us a couple of solid foundational classes. Relax and man up. Stop with the crying. GO CANES!!!

Exactly

We have almost all the pieces (Veteran OL, loaded RB and TE room, Sr. NFL QB, All American Safety, potential AA DT, and all other sorts of talent on D)

No reason why we shouldnt win at least 8-9 games

Now....we talkin! Give the man time to cook. We got the pieces and it seems Mario made a course correction with the new coordinators. Let the man cook. Lets not get negative before the season. GO CANES!!

Geo: recruits telling him that crazy/negative statements are read by recruits and it affects recruiting

Why Isn't UF's bad season impacting recruiting

Geo: UF has a totally different NIL approach than Miami (read into this what you will)

Patterson

Andrew: He's leaning FSU, going to be FSU on Saturday. Likely similar to Fletcher, he'll flip to Miami at the end.
Geo: FSU, Auburn & Miami top 3 right now. Forced commitment by Chaminade staff, recruitment far from over on Saturday. Agrees w/Andrew

Stone

Geo: Miami & OK are finalists. Not predicting. This one likely decided the day of the commit.
Andrew: Stone more likely than Patterson. Will predict morning of the commit.

Miami/OK recruiting battles

Andrew: Stone and Jackson are close, but package deal seems to be fading
Andrew: Venables had a poor year also, battling Miami for a lot of kids. If one school does worse than the other, kids could be on flip watch

Malachi Toney

Geo: Chance he could reclassify, AH won't let him reclassify

Ghea (Nickel's teammate)

Geo: Hearing rumblings he could commit soon

McCoy & Smith

Geo: The more they visit, gives Mario more of an opportunity to flip

Lot of moving parts right now

Geo: Bama and Auburn pushing hard here. No indication he's listening

Geo: As of now, Miami not worried about O$U

Geo: F$U making a push here

Pruitt

Geo: Took camp visit to Bama, offered on visit. Miami somewhat concerned here.

Geo: Miami, UGA, UT leaders here

Evals

Geo: Recruting dept finding gems before other schools: Ionata, Cole, Red Morgan, Pruitt

Other than a 2025 prediction there’s legit nothing in this lol none of this is info that’s not easily found anywhere on a board
 
Recruiting is what it is this class. Big bet on the on field product to sway some kids at the end, but we also will have to fight off flips too so things are going to ebb and flow. I just hope the "approach", whatever it may be, for the next class and future classes is adaptable and up to speed with how things are moving. Mario is a recruiter and we all know that, and he's great one, but the game has changed. Hoping for a shift next cycle and hoping the results on the field help us with better messaging.

LMAO, us fans are partly to blame for players choosing to play football elsewhere. Some real loser **** right there. It's time this staff, and it's apologists stare at themselves in the mirror, and blame the staff's performance on the field, and in the NIL game, for whatever shortcomings have (and will continue to) come our way.

Their collective performance on the field has been horse ****, offensive, and defenseless. Downright horrible! They need to earn their paycheck and cut the baby **** out.

mannn....i never rant in here...but once the "fan card" gets played...crootin vets know...****, crootin rooks know too....that **** is DIRE.
one of...if not the worst excuses out there for failure.
and losing ZP with potentially a two time all american ON our roster....that's next level failure.
