That would be a MAJOR FAIL considering Mario is a recruiter, not a gameday coach. You can't make $8M a year, not be a good x's and o's guy and bring in classes ranked 12th -17th. We got that out of Diass. Mario's floor needs to be recruiting classes ranked no less than 10th, period.

We had like 5 safteties transfer out.

We have these currently as depth safeties.
-Flashed in Spring
-Older cerebral guy...im not shaky if he has to log reps
-Young , high upside

I Too wanted the kid from Tulane though in the transfer portal. Its time to see what Balom has as a third safety...and the young players from last year get their feet more wet in Harris and Markeith Williams.

I like markeith maybe I’m writing off balom to early I just don’t see it for a guy that’s been here for a while and doesn’t have much to show and was gonna transfer. I thought Harris was nickel but if he is there I’m much more optimistic. For recruiting I think Thomas is gonna more of a utility tool. I think we need 4 coming in next year

I think Harris is a nickel as well...DYlan Day will play that spot as well i didnt list him as a safety commit. Harris lined up at safety all spring though. The cb room seems full right now os im thinking he got/gets pushed to safety. He is athletic enough and put together.

Markeith is skinny but dude when he played last year seemed to physical and trying to hurt something. His speed looked abit different than other dbs on the field. I like his game

They asked Balom to come back...i remember early on his true freshman year he logged some game snaps. You wont know what you have if guys dont get some reps.

I think we need maybe 3...maybe 2 hs and 1 portal depending if Kam/James leaves. So any 1 of the above i posted would work for us.

Sure. But the impact Gattis had on us is whats being felt now and we don'y actually know if our on-field product will be any better this year. Our class could end up being worse after games are played.

My indictment on coaches will always be how well they recruit their base position. It was my big indictment on Diaz. Was LB/DC and then LB/DC/HC and couldn’t bring in a high quality LB.

Mario is obviously showing signs pointing towards improvement on the OL. Addae needs to pick it up from the recruiting aspect.

Buddy ain't never seen me wishy washy. I say simply what's first hand knowledge to me from people directly involved. If it changes it changes as I speak in the moment. People like that clown are why I simply don't tell y'all nothing anymore. Cause I got enough headaches & if you can't understand that kids do change their minds than enjoy burger king. It's one thing to change their mind it's another to straddle a fence and then claim both sides.

Ironically I think Cormani is the one thing people DONT blame Addae for

He’s been a weak link on the trail and there’s been insider hints that recruits don’t mesh well with him

I personally have no clue what the truth is though

Balom and Markeith are really promising imo but doesn’t take away from your overall point that losing JW and Kam is gonna be devastating

Zaquan Patterson could go a long way to helping this

I was unaware that Brooklyn had a perfect batting average. However, I don't intend to highlight any incorrect things you have said in the past. I have many receipts for things I have shared, which are spanning months and years. I know where I stack up. The only thing you mentioned is the offensive lineman, which, by the way, they felt optimistic about after the weekend. The space opened up at 8 and we mentioned that the situation changed since earlier in the week, before ‘anyone’ else if you’re tracking. Recruiting is not this static situation where things can’t change. There has been numerous times I’ve put my neck out there and stated something, for it to come true and I’ve been bit a few times that I can count on one hand, now you go ahead and do that. If you hold a specific opinion about us "clowns," feel free to express it to us in person. I’ve never had a problem getting or having a job and I cover much more than just Miami Hurricanes Football.

Again, I’m not here to point out things you have said that are wrong though. Someone sent this reply to me.

i said a few weeks ago Gabys Mock Class was setting Mario up for failure. We don't have the first class coaching bump and we are in a lot of battles with schools that are most likely matching our NIL, have great coaches themselves and have been successful on the field while putting guys in the league.

I do believe Mario will recruit 24/7 and find enough talent in the Portal, JUCO and High school recruiting to keep us moving forward.
