I heard a Kenard Lang interview and he said whitfield liked FSU track team that was a big reason he picked fsu.

Could really use one of them small agile speedy receivers to complaint what we have.

I literally did LOL when I saw that. Throw your hands up in frustration. Turn around, run a few steps and get blasted off your feet.

If you watch the play a little earlier, looks like he gets laid out, gets up and gets juked, then gets laid out again... dam

So I would be very cautious about his visit being a Trojan Horse visit to recruit for FSU. But he brings so much upside you have to take the chance. I also think he would have gotten more attention if he had a good qb in hs.

He has good hands, anyone who says differently go watch the video from the 2012 grid iron kings, where with a very good QB throwing the ball kermit had 4 tds in the championship game.

We have one of the best track coaches in the country in Amy Deem. She oversees all track, including men's track. She developed Lauryn Williams, so she knows sprints. I doubt there's much difference between coaching women and coaching men in sprints. Besides, she has men coaches that work with the men.

A lot of the kids we're recruiting now don't count against our self-imposed limitations anyway, since they're Jucos or coming early. That would be true with all the Jucos and I think Figueroa, at least. They'd probably count against numbers held by kids who have already been the program but have left.

I haven't paid attention to Whitfleid in months, but I remember his videos, and it's awfully hard to pass on somebody with such incredible speed. I think he's more of a football player than Bracey.

I don't think the staff would recruit him as a "backup plan" .. esp when he decommitted and committed to a rival/big time program.

I think AG may have more scholarships available than he thought he was going to a month or so ago.
