Lets try a NEW POST...we are awared the Kick off classic

Personally...when we are fully loaded and back on track, I would like to play LSU on a neutral field as that is the game where I felt the wheels came off (peach bowl)

UGA.

Never play them, Give us a footing in fertile recruiting area for us (ga tech dont count),SEC Love fest needs to stop, Their overrated every year.

UCLA.

Their on the rise, Fertile recruiting area for us out west, Always remember when we played them with EJ when i was a jit

Penn State

Our coaches are alumni, Northeast recruiting, I just like beating them. Murked them when i was like a soph in high school with a kickoff classic...think Najeh went off.

Our new AD is a eunuch. We could have played LSU in Houston but Bartles and James ****ed his panties and scheduled Savannah St. instead.

I know it sucks, but I want to play for national titles...the easiest path to a title game is what I want. Everyone else is doing it so why not us?

Good point. OH, HEY LOOK, it's 12:30. You better stop posting or you will be late for *** practice.

I think all of us as fans wanted to see us play LSU but the reason we arent is due to economics and not easy scheduling or being afraid. Why should Miami accept 1/4 of the revenue paid out to the teams when we are a marquee program with national appeal? When LSU and Oregon played it was an appx. 4 mil : 1.25 mil split and this is why we turned down that matchup.

I am a miami graduate who is attending Oregon for a sports marketing MBA. In speaking with AD Rob Mullins (who worked in our canes athletic dept. in the past) this is why Blake turned down the offer.

And playing LSU on a neutral field in Houston, isn't exactly neutral. Learned that lesson in Chicago last year. How about Tampa?

UGA...for reasons stated above and because I've always had a soft spot.

Ole Miss...brother went there and I would just love to put it on them.

Texas....reasons already stated.

SOMEONE ON THE WEST COAST SO I DIDN'T HAVE TO FLY ACROSS THE COUNTRY TO SEE US PLAY. ANYONE. COULD BE CAL STATE NORTHRIDGE FOR ALL I CARE.

LOL...k

Texas is no-brainer for me.

1. Big rep, little substance - we can win this game and get buzz.
2. Recruiting
3. Easy for me to attend

The two of you GTFOH with your data and knowledge and let everyone pound their chests.

I heard we turned it down because we wanted to pay LSU to play them on their field just to embarrass them on all levels.

1991 we joined the Big East and so ended the "Anyone, Anywhere!" mantra. Once your schedule is divyed up with conference obligations there is no way you can have the latitude of playing anyone and booking it years ahead. Add in the now mandatory Conference Championship game and the road the title is entirely different. The last 30 years has been a complete revamp/revolution in NCAA football. Yes we were a big part of that- but it was about change- and now we have to change to catch up......

FO REAL........

You guys need to get off it. We need to focus on becoming dominant in the ACC then that will set us up for big games against the SEC in the bowls. It makes no sense playing these tough games and hurting our team before the ACC schedule even starts. Sad but its the way it is. If we go undefeated in the ACC we will get into the BCS NT this year and future years we are in the playoff. We dont need to do anything but win. Louisville played a joke Big East schedule, beat UF and are now the best thing since slice bread. We went OOC and got murked by KSU and ND away from home.....did it get us anything?Blake James is smart and savi, better than the 2 previous clowns who jetted. let him do his job and we will play whoever he schedules.

I think Miami playing Oregon in a neutral site would be fun to watch.....

both teams are considered the ones w/ swag and both teams have ducks as mascots (im starting think Oregon needs to be sued for Copyright infringement j/k).

Probably most watched game of the year.

We had a great 1 and 1 with Ohio State. Would love to do that again. Going into Ann Arbor would be fun. Boise or Texas would fun.
