Curious as to what his role will be vs GT. His pass rushing services won't be needed so perhaps he sneaks in some time at linebacker.

It's funny just went to the GT boards, and we apparently aren't a very good defense. I think he will have pass rush opportunities next week, just shut down their horrid offense on the first two downs.

Next year is his last season. The Aldon Smith comparison is gaining steam.

He needs to play full time IMO for him to leave early, but kid is a beast.

To clarify I am just basing my opinion on the massive leap we have seen in one season. He still isn't anywhere near maxed out physically, which is where the Aldon Smith thing comes from. I guess people don't realize Aldon still isn't a complete player either. Shrug.

I wasn't super hyped about him coming into the season now I think he could be a future first round pick.

I trust the tie.

He is top 5 against the run according to PFF and a really good pass rusher.

We might not need to rush the passer that much, but GT threw it 24 times last game against VT. VT also utilized Fuller to blitz the B gap constantly throughout that game, and it blew up GT's offense. I'd consider taking one of our guys and doing the same thing with him.

Best play maker no doubt but not the best player on D. No one has really stood out but Tracy is the best player on defense.

I watch him every week. He's a beast but is just scratching the surface of being an all around player, which is the point. When he came into the league as a top 10 pick he was nothing but a freak pass rusher.

That's all. Comparisons are just speculative.

In that order

He has the potential to be an All Amerian and top 5 draft pic. I see a lot of Aldo Smith in him, add 15-20 pounds to him and he will not be blocked.

Most improved defensive player is a three man race between Armbrister, Rodgers, and McCord, with Cornileus not too far behind. Frankly an awesome problem to have.

**** of an athletic move to be engaged with an onlinemen and still explode up and get that interception yesterday, flashes serious playmaking skills and would have had a chance to scoop and score on the deon bush sack and fumble had he been a step quicker, which he will be at some point as he continues to improve....

seems like he is always around the ball when there is havoc in the backfield, either created by him or someone else on the team, great players have this trait...

He's a deadly pass rusher, but I don't think he's versatile enough yet to be the best player on D. Not a complete enough game.

I'll tell ya what makes my boot cut Wranglers get snug, though - You see the jump McCord made in a year after U Tough? Imagine him and AQM coming off the edge next season.

Golden talked about that before the season. McCord is almost a different player with the off season weight gain. Golden wants him to gain another 10. Golden is building a monster. And, that's not an exaggeration.

The development of him has been outstanding, I still thought he was a year away before making a true impact but he's coming along nicely. With that said, it's still early and the true test starts now with this Dline.

I agree that the last 2 games were to easy. But I think the Florida game was a very good test.

Don't forget about olsen pierre. He's not the best, but certainly not getting enough respect. He has improved his game each year under golden and always plays solid.

DP and then everyone else.

His Florida highlights are to be put amongst the greatest to ever put on pads for us.
