It’s a young staff , don’t forget that. Even manny had his own issues with recruiting. He’s hiring guys who get it and who either have relationships or know how to build them.

UF screwed things up , some things went down with Brashard that rubbed a lot of folks wrong, UF got arrogant with the palmetto kids, which also rubbed folks wrong. UF has issues in their recruiting dept as I’ve mentioned , there will be changes. But to Miami’s defense they busted their *** with Taylor. It was a true team effort. They earned this one.

As for the UF side of things @Liberty City El knows better. I was just told in May there was issues and they blew it.

@Liberty City El any insight on what happen with UF messing it up with Palmetto? I also saw your a MNW alumyou know Marty Moore? played with Nate Webster and those boys?

We will. End of story. We gonna miss on Marshall AND Nate Wiggins (we def losing to LSU on this head 2 head) & Kamar gonna get his wish to play corner lol.

Fellow Gator fans on some "wait till we have ANOTHER 10 win season" & while i believe we will...what then recruiting wise will this ****** recruiting staff be able to sell if we go say...8-4/7-5??? Your staff is only as good in recruiting as your head coach. Brewster didn't come here & just forget how to recruit. Put him on yall staff & yall have a top 5 class bc Manny breathes recruiting.

Maybe, just maybe, his bull**** like pandering down to talk a certain way is not flying in the current world like it did a couple of years back. Of course it should never have flown in the first place and is textbook microaggression racism. But hey, it should fit right in with the 5 Rangz crowd.

I’ve also heard stories about a highly rated recruit showing up with a highly rated uncommitted recruit, pretty much helping the staff recruit said kid. The staff **** near ignored the committed kid, it was like he wasn’t even there. He stayed committed but it really upset the family.

Little things like this, building relationships and sticking to it and grinding the entire time. I’ve posted in years past I was told “ they’re clueless “. I think they’re finally getting this part , also improving other areas of the recruiting game.

If one has back to back 10-win or better years, and the recruiting isn't where it should be, that's a pretty clear indicator that it isn't likely to magically improve. There are clown coaches who can't win an important game, but somehow can land top-10 classes after mediocre seasons.

Yeah, besides we didn't get any benefit from when Germans bombed Pearl Harbor so this makes up from that. Time we caught a brake from tragedy.

Yeah agreed. If Manny can put it together on the field with the recruiters he has as assistants then I think we can land another Top 10 class for 2022. Couple that with Top 15 classes for 2020 and 2021 and we’re finally talking some serious depth at most if not all positions. I think UF might get to 9-10 wins in 2020 but they’re recruiting is going to catch up with them eventually. You have to keep stacking chips; you can’t have bad back to back classes and think you’re going to keep up with UGA and now Tennessee in the East.

Bro. Come on, bro. Common sense. Higher powers aren't going to pick Diaz's OC, and there is a -1000% chance that Lashlee, who was one of the hottest commodities on the market, would accept a position where he is being forced on the head coach. And if the higher powers were pulling strings, how did Diaz have the juice to shut down Highsmith?
