And Jaiden Davis is the only one I would consider a whiff, the other two were never, ever, ever, ever coming here.

Talent is definitely not the problem, it's just time for the talent to show up EVERY SATURDAY.. Our player's have to perform better and we might see them on these type of list.. Getting burnt and getting PI calls and missing tackles won't help!!

You got this all wrong, rumph wanted to push for Jaden davis and Asante Samuel early in their recruitment and could have had them but Diaz wasn’t on board with them being takes early on until late in the cycle(when jobe flipped) and then they tried to pressure davis to commit now during the summer or something like that. That’s on Diaz not rumph

I remember something along those lines, too. Richt and Manny didn't want to over-sign the position, already had Ivey and Blades locked up at CB (and Frierson was being looked at there, as well), and believed they had a legit shot at Campbell and/or Surtain. Pure hubris. You don't pass up on players like Davis or Samuel. Make room for the elite kid if he wants in later. But do not save his spot and have an 80%+ chance of losing the 4-star wanting in.

And Uvey is slow as molasses

Never had a real, committable offer from Miami.

Blame Diaz. Rumph wanted him from the get go but Diaz wanted to slow play him. I’m happy with getting tecory couch though who’s going to be a stud in the future. Can’t have 2 5’9, 5’10 cbs in one class though tbh

I think couch ends up being better anyways not worried plenty kids ball that we dont accept commits from and and plenty flop also

Nobody thought Davis or Samuel we’re elite..they are both solid players but elite is a stretch right now

I didn’t say they were elite. I said they were takes, and that you don’t wait on the local elite kids, but make room later if they want in.

you just called them elite again lol..couch and Williams was a very good class..
